Kite Camp Istria

First time trying to kitesurf and I couldn't have chosen a better place do to so. The environment was great and friendly. Petar (my instructor) had all the patient and energy in the world. He made it really fun to just keep trying no matter what. The equipment was in perfect conditions and all in all the staff was great. Really can't wait to try it again. I would definitely recommend this Camp for people on every stage of their learning process, since I could see how my more skilled friends were also improving and enjoying it.

The week in Naxos having Petar as an instructor made my year! :) He is by far the best instructor I've ever had, and I will definitely try to organize some vacations in the near future wherever he will be ;) I could see improvements at every lesson with him, which gave me such a joy and excitement! He is a crazy-talented instructor and simply a beautiful person, that could boost my confidence in my capabilities more than I believed possible. Such a thrill to learn from Petar!
Don't hesitate, just go and book lessons with him, and you'll collect some of the best experiences of your (kitesurf) life!

Great school, with great, from start to finish, dedicated instructors. Calm, always smiling, ready to explain whatsoever and give the right advice. Motivated in what they do, and ready to share knowledge even with people not being their students anymore.
When Dean teaches you, you feel completely safe, with the proper advice in the right moment.
The school is equipped with the high class "Duotone" kites and other top of the notch equipment being "ION" and "Mystic".
With all this said, I think we are very privileged having a school such as "Kite Camp Istria" with excellent instructors, and most of all, good people like instructor Dean.

With my boyfriend we took the beginner course.
We had never done kite surf before.
With our instructor Dean it was very easy to progress.
He's very experienced, patient, a true motivator, in just one week we have made excellent progress and above all we have been passionate about this sport!
we had really funny lesson that we won't never forget.
Really recommended for those who want to approach kitesurf!

Kiting with Petar and Dean is the BEST! Always a very relaxed and top organized thing! It's just always great fun with them! They are honest, fun and always concerned about the well-being of everyone. You feel completely comfortable and in good hands.
They organized the hotels and the kite equipment in Croatia and Vietnam including bus transfer. Everything was well organized and worked out reliably.

I was very lucky learning to kite with Petar last year and it was super awesome. Petar is super patient, always motivating and positive, and is responsive to the personal learning pace. And he is always very happy when someone did a new step forward. I always felt save and relaxed and it was so great fun learning with Petar.
Even if you don't "learn" anymore, both of them giving tips and tricks for riding technique or equipment all the time.
Kiting with KiteCamp Istra was great and relaxed. So many things to do in Croatia beside kiting - they know the best places and activities to do!
My husband and I are looking forward to go on an organized kite trip with Dean and Petar as soon as possible or visit them in Istria again – for us they are not kite trainers any more, they become friends.

I always knew the risks of kitesurfing and I have seen a lot of bad videos with "kitemares" before. Still, I decided to take a chance. From the first day, first lessons ,my first kite flying, Petar and Dean made me fill very confident and safe very quickly with their smooth way of teaching. You get the right tips with small details at the right time which make you progress instantly. Other then lessons they are very cool guys to have fun in the free time as well so you won't be bored. To conclude i'm was very satisfied with the way they taught me kitesurfing. Very very happy with the sport and I recommend Petar and Dean to everyone. 🤙🤙

We had an amazing experience with KitCamp Istria.
Me and my wife wanted to try kite surfing but were totally new to this sport.
We had an amazing teacher that was very patient and passionate. We could learn fast thanks to him and we are now proud members of the kitesurfing community.

I got to know Petar and Dean in Istria in 2017 - a great team! Very professional and very kind! I had a few kite lessons in Istria and Montenegro with Dean who is a really good and patient teacher, and now I am able to kite by myself! I have to mention the fact that I am female age 50 - and we made it!
Looking forward to my next visit to Istria to improve my kitesurf-skills!

I can only recommand Petar's Kitesurf lesson, he is unbelivably patient and he shares with you his passion in a way that you can only fall for Kite after that ! I had an amazing experience and I recommand it 100%, it is more than worthy : you can not regret the feeling of flying on water !

Fabelous Tim, always on disposition and proactive, full of heart and wanting to help. We came for kitesurfing. They gave us all the informations wich made our stay joyful, economic and easygoing. We took surfing lessons for the first time and in half an hour were catching our first waves...realy incredible. I would highly recommend Kite Camp Istria to anyone.

Super nice Team! Although I just booked rental equipment, they gave me kind of lesson and helped to adapt to conditions in Istria. Moreover, they fished me out of the with the boat and brought me upwind 🙈🤙 fantastic experience!

I wanted to learn to kite for a long time, but I always thought I was too old, to weak, just a woman... With Dean and Petar I lost all my fears and got 'infected' with their passion for wind and sea. Legendary staff, they rescued me from the water after the wind died

Kite Camp Istria - savršeno mjesto za pronaći ono što ste oduvijek tražili! Konstantno sam osjećao neku prazninu u sebi i nedostajalo mi je aktivnosti. Kite me oduvijek privlačio, ali s druge strane ulijevao strah u kosti. Volio sam gledati kitesurfere dok kajtaju i mislio sam da nikad neću moći biti poput njih. Javio sam se instruktoru Deanu i na samo jednoj kavi i razgovoru s njim, ohrabrio me i dogovorili smo tečaj. Od samog početka stavljao je sigurnost na prvo mjesto tečaja i uz profesionalne savjete i trikove uputio me kako savladati strah i obuzdati zmaja i dasku. Svakim satom na tečaju bio sam sigurniji i uz njegovo navođenje popravljao tehniku. Iz dana u dan sam sve više uživao u tom sportu. Onaj strah s početka više ne postoji i svakim izlaskom na vodu i stajanjem na dasku kao da ponovno prodišem i oslobodim se svih briga i loših misli.

Hvala KITE CAMP ISTRIA na ovom predivnom novom iskustvu i Deanu na genijalno odrađenom tečaju i uspješnom istjerivanju straha iz mene. Preporučam odlazak u školicu svakome tko treba neku promjenu, rasterećenje u životu ili početnicima kajterima kojima fali sigurnosti.

J'ai découvert le Kite Camp Istria par le biais d'une amie et j'ai donc fait la rencontre des deux profs au Vietnam. Ils sont vraiment hyper professionnels, attentif, sympa, hyper à l'écoute, ils m'ont permis d'améliorer ma technique de kite en quelques conseils. De plus les kites Camp sont organisé à la perfection (prise en charges de l'aeroport, logements, restauration, activité etc). Une des meilleurs experience de kite que j'ai pu avoir. J'ai hate de les retrouver en Egypte pour un nouveau Camp de folie.

Ako ste željni adrenalina, dobre zabave, sunca, kiše, vjetra i osmjeha definitivno preporučujem KCI kao sljedeću adrenalinsku aktivnost.
Ekipa je super, spotovi fantastični...
Iako sport izgleda dosta ospasno ne morate se ništa bojati uz instruktore koji vas prate i uvijek su uz vas.
Najviše mi se svidja što je veliki fokus na sigurnost. Meni je to izrazito važno jer nakon što sam gledao dosta videa ljudi koji "znaju" i rade neke pogreške do kojih ne bi došlo da su išli u školu surfanja.
Jedina manja je što sport izrazito zarazan 🤘🤘

Ich hatte ein paar Privatstunden mit Petar. Er lehrte mich in kürzester Zeit mit dem Kite und vor allem dem Board umzugehen. Es wahr großartig und ich komme gerne wieder!
