One of the top restaurants in Varaždin, best quality to price ratio. I would suggest, however, to make a reservation in front since they don't have a lot of tables. Plus parking can be a little problematic. Otherwise I only have praises to give. I would definitely recommend it and I'll most definitely come back!

I have been twice. Day after day. A wonderful combination of tradition and modernity. Elegant and original serving of dishes, with portion sizes and fair prices. Nice atmosphere, nicely arranged interiors. Very good price of wines, great service. Congratulations to the owners and chefs for such a unique place. Certainly, when I return to Varaždin I will visit this place again.

Fantastic restaurant with a park atmosphere behind the castle. We have come several times and it’s always lovely. I wish they were pet friendly. Food is fantastic with lots of good wine option.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Varaždin. Food is absolutely sublime and so full of flavors, it's just amazing. I took chicken with rice and basil sauce, and my friend took vegetarian food with fannel. First time I ate salad with pumpkin seed oil. Truly marvelous. I definitely recommend!!!!

It’s recommended by my Airbnb host, and happened to be my best meal in Croatia. The view is so pretty, service is quick! I’ll definitely eat here again!

Awesome and creative gourmet experience, traditional food in a modern world. Fast and lovely service. Wonderful interior nd exterior, very romantic and cozy. Not expensive, very good quality for money.

Fully recommended! The waitress was amazing, as well as the food. I was surprised by the service and timing (the Kitchen had an ongoing party and some different guests and still could deliver the dishes for six of us in a short time). The portions was quite big. We left the restaurant happy and relaxed.

Visited Bedem in September 2017. We just needed some quick lunch and instead got a fantastic, homey meal: homemade pasta with chestnuts and rabbit, and it was the best pasta dish I had had for ages.
