Šijana/Siana Forest

Great place for kids and sports. Forest just a couple of minutes from the main roads, quiet, lots of shade, nice Cafe in the center near the playground. A must visit for parents with kids who don't want to burn on the beach.

The old imperial forest (Kaiserwald) is a magical place ideal for an afternoon walk in the shadow of old trees or a beautiful jogging session. It is a beautiful green and peaceful oasis where you can connect with nature and have a break from the hectic city life.

If you wish to escape from the swarming streets and sweltering heat of the city on a summer afternoon into a colorful autumn or a scented spring morning you should go to Šijana Forest. Surely you won’t regret it. Only two kilometers from the very center of the city you will find heaven for your body and soul.

Great for quick relaxing visit with children. Park has large open spaces, medium sized children playground. If you are more oriented towards sport, there are several marked trails for running or cycling.

Even the AustroHungarian emperor loved visiting this health point, because its air helps breathing better, to those people having asthma or any other lung problem.... Great escaping point from high summer temperatures. In there, it is always fresh enough to enjoy

Each year gets better! Awesome place for family fun day, large meadow, kids playground, running and walking paths, skywalking crew often hangs their rope to walk on :), calisthenics and recreational park and even a marvelous coffee bar with huge number of kids toys! :)

Celebrated my friends birthday party, the place is gorgeous and fun even for teens and 18-20 year olds. Very fresh air and generally fun

The most beautiful forest in Pula. I go there for my weekly run regularly. Also great if you wanna bring the whole family for a picnic, or just a casual walk.

Great place in every season. For walks to heavy exercises, and everything in between. Family birthdays, picnics, yearly races for young and bold, even great for mountain biking.

Awesome place to walk in the forest, it is worth mentioning that the "Cyklama" path brings you near a old abandoned fort called "San Daniele" from the Austro-Hungarian era. There are some stairs to the right of the fort allowing you to climb on it and have a nice point of view.
There's no sign giving you the direction of it which I find strange, we discovered it only because we missed the sign of the path.

Super no stress

Nice forest on the edge of Pula, only 2kms from town. Can get there with a local bus 3A. Many walking trails which have coloured markers.

5-10 km of walking in 5 tracks.
1 of them have spiritual labirints , total 5 of them. Must walk. Must see, beautiful nature

Beautiful forest park just step away frow the city center, you will be able to immerse yourself in a beautiful peaceful green oasis. Worth a visit.

Beautiful walkways, kids enjoy it immensely. There's even various educational boards (on forrest life) along the path.
