In my opinion, the amphitheater in Pula is slightly smaller than in Verona (Italy), but it is still amazing. Well-maintained attracts tourists. To this day, performances and concerts are held there. Knowing that we can admire a monument from 2,000 years ago stimulates the imagination. We can feel the history and grandeur of this amphitheater, touch the blocks of white limestone from which it was built. We can also visit the underground - there are, among others: Roman vases. There is also a souvenir shop and toilets.

Pula arena is a must see if you are there. Anytime you can see roman ruins or architecture while in Europe you should do it. The guide we had was outstanding which very needed to understand what you are seeing.

Definitely the highlight point of the city that you should not miss at all . By paying the ticket for the price of 10€ you get the access inside the arena and you can also explore and underground museum, where there are some historical stuff left from Roman Empire .

Awesome and majestic ✨. It was definitely more intact than I thought it would be. It has been well kept up. Big part of the Croatian history. Worth seeing.

A monumental structure preserved from Roman times. Looks impressive. Of course it doesn’t reach the level of the Colosseum, but overall it’s a very majestic and beautiful building.

Enjoyed sightseeing the Amazing Amphitheatre in Pula which is a rather intact and complete historical arena. It is rather impressive, to be standing out there, amidst such an old and well preserved historical structure. Our tour group got to Pula from Rijeka. Go downstairs to view and read about some exhibits. Additionally, when you are outside in the arena and able, take the stairs on either side, which allows you to reach the top of the spectator stands for a better view, so as to take more panaromic photographs.

My favorite stop in Pula. Very well preserved coliseum. The tickets are well worth the price of 10 euros per person.

I was shocked to tell you the truth how this Pula Arena is so look alike Colosseum in Rome. Beautiful architecture near the sea. I didn’t buy tickets and didn’t enter the Arena itself only went around, believe me it’s great place for like a few million photos. When I was there it was 29 Celsius and clear sky, I wonder how it looks and what atmosphere Pula Arena has when it’s raining or just cloudy weather. For sure Pula is great place to visit for vacation and Pula Arena is just a reminder of how capable was people very long time ago that they built a structure that stands till today. Enjoy you stay in Pula.

Impressive structure that is well preserved. Sitting in the stands, you can really get a feel for the scale of the place. We visited in the evening, and the setting sun made for some amazing views of the illuminated cranes in the harbour.

Awesome place to view. We didn't buy tickets to go in but walked around it and looked inside. More than 2000 years old and so well preserved still. I have been to the colosseum in Rome and this one is just as amazing, a must visit while in Pula.

Stunning, including the setting overlooking the harbour. If you get to see an evening event there do so, magical. Arguably better than the Colosseum, less visited/touristy.

It is a great historical place to visit during your city trip. Worth visiting. The view is great. Parking is available at a very low price nearby. There is a very clean and well maintained park nearby to have a nice walk. I would recommend a visit.

The entrance fee is currently €10 per person. However, it is absolutely worth it. You can experience how it must have felt being a Gladiator standing in this arena fighting these vicious animals. Just amazing!

Great venue to view. We didn't buy tickets to go in but simply walked around it and looked inside. It is just mind-blowing the building is already there for more than 2000 years. Although it was a hot day you have quite some shading here and there and always a nice bar around for some refreshments.

The aura this place gives off is incredible you can just imagine what it must have been like thousands of years ago. Although you can see it from the city the entry fee is worth every cent just to have the experience of being inside with all the history it gives you goosebumps it's so awesome

One of our first stops on a trip to Greece and beyond: this arena was a nice remnant of Rome here. We walked the grounds and read plaques for a good part of the day before going on to look at other sites in town.

We visited the arena as we were there for a concert by Robbie Williams. The atmosphere, combined with the live event, was more than impressive. This will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime.

The combination of the ancient structure and the sea in the background creates an unusually magical feeling. Your heart remains there among the gladiators.

A location worth your while. Feel like a gladiator in old roman times and stand in the middle of the arena. Small exhibition under the arena focusing on olive oil production also worth to see. Overall really nice expirience in moderate price (10€ for adult)
