Really nice place to have a special dinner and nice sundowns. The view and atmosphere is amazing! Mario is really passionate about his restaurant and built everything by himself. The menu is a surprise but he’ll consider wishes or allergies when you make a reservation.

Picena Bay was the best lunch I’ve ever had. The bread, fish, salad, rice, etc. was all so good I couldn’t stop eating… they even brought out a cake for my sister’s birthday!!! Thanks Mario & co., you guys are the best!!

My boyfriend and I had a really lovely lunch here at the end of May. The location is absolutely beautiful and the restaurant decor is glorious. They have sun beds that can be used as well.

We arrived on boat and they were very helpful in helping us dock up! The service was great, very attentive and knowledgable.

They offered a 2 course set menu (either fish or meat), we opted for the fish! Everything had been sourced locally and you could tell, the food was delicious. The portion sizes were perfect as well.

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, in my opinion it is the best in vela Luka.

Excellent authentic hidden gem in the peaceful bay overlooking the ships pathway to Vela Luka. The fish was fantastic, just like the accompanying dishes, and appetizers. You definitely should book a table and come over at least once — we’ve driven down from another side of the island — and it was totally worth it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great restaurant in a beautiful bay! This is truly a kind of heaven on earth! The personnel and the owner Mario are so good in what they do for their guests! The food is more than delicious and everything is very fresh! Let you surprise by the daily fresh dishes, we got an excellent piece of swordfish which was deliciously prepared! We will definitely come back!

Beautiful place run by the family where you can enjoy romantic dinner by the sea eating excellent food prepared with love and drinking beautiful local wines. Simple dishes representing traditional island food, not trying to be pretencious, made from locally sourced fresh ingredients. You will get what is fresh today and available and you can leave it in the hands of the owner Mario - you won’t regret and so didn’t we. All flavours and aromas are beautiful from fish pate, octopus salad, local specialty “kupus na tabak” to grilled fish prepared by the owners father. Staff is very hospitable and kind. And the best if you can select only one thing is the owner Mario, who will welcome you, have a glass of wine with you and make you feel like you have come to your dear old friend for a dinner. Remarkable place with excellent food and warm and cosy atmosphere. Can’t wait to return for more. I would strongly recommend it.

Picena Bay Restaurant was my favorite lunch spot of our week long trip! Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious. The owners made an ice cream cake for my daughter’s birthday which was incredible! And the views while you eat are fabulous. I highly recommend the Picena Bay Restaurant!

Amazing restaurant at Korcula - the fish was perfect and the service really lovely and nice. Location and atmosphere at the beach are great for having candlelight dinner there.

We came to this place on a Backroads Tour, and it really was one of the highlights of my experience. What a beautiful place, and really friendly hosts. The food was delicious and plentiful and served in a relaxed spacious manner. The children had a lovely time, and so did we adults. All in all a wonderful, relaxing, inspiring time! Thank you <3

Had such a lovely lunch here! The local wine was fantastic and the red pepper dip was one of the best dips I think I’ve ever eaten! The staff and was so friendly and the view can’t be best. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Five stars really doesn't do justice to this amazingly beautiful location. It has wonderful service, delicious food, and incredible views. If you're fortunate enough to visit Korcula, this will be the crown jewel on your time there.

We kayaked with Backroads right up to Picena Bay and were greeted with the most kind and welcoming family! The setting is second to none and the food delicious. Several of our grouped took a swim/snorkel off the beach while there. But best of all were the kind staff/family who shared a beautiful and intimate piece of Croatia that was a highlight of our trip.

Delicious food, friendly staff, chilled atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We went there in July and really enjoyed. The owner Mario and his father were very friendly. The drinks and the food were excellent. He served own delicious wine and grappa (as in our opinion many croatian guys do ;) ). Prices are high, but worth it. Important to know: that's no place for many people and you can only go there with having a reservation. The location is awesome!!! Hidden secret place with a great view.
