Restoran Peking

Restaurant Peking has surprisingly decent menu and dishes we tried were close to authentic. We’ve tried various Chinese restaurants in Croatia with various degrees of disappointment, but Pula’s Peking isn’t among them.
We ordered hot and sour soup. It delivered - slightly gelatinous, spicy and rich. For the main we had fried rice with vegetables and Szechuan chicken. Rice was faultless, chicken could be spicier, but we learned that Croatian clientele doesn’t eat food too hot, so we can understand toning it down.
Overall, a very pleasant experience in a nice setting on a patio with attentive service.

Note: We’re coming from a predominantly Chinese city in Canada, so it’s not boasting when I say I know a thing or two about Chinese food.

Dinner was really good, I didn't eat Chinese food but the fish was tasty 😋.

I love to visit here ever so often. Never any problem. Always great food and decent service. Good people. 👍

Food came very quickly and it was so, so tasty.
Prices are very affordable.

Probably the best flavor of any Chinese restaurant. So many other places in Europe can not compare. Friendly staff. Quick service. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We order food almost every week.

I highly recommend a combination of:
#40 "Homemade Noodles with Vegetables and Egg" and #691 "Chicken with Vegetables."
Good size portions. If you oder both #40 and #691 you could split half of each and this is enough for 2 people. No need to order rice or anything. If you want a delicious crunchy appetizer, I recommend the "Crispy Fried Springrolls" they are small and you get about 6 rolls with each order.

Excellent food at decent prices.
We had beef, noodles, jiao zi and rice and everything was top quality.
Quiet atmosphere and nice service

I loved the food here. We ordered the option 1 for 2 people and it was delicious.
Sweet and sour soup, spring rolls,rice, chicken and veg in a peanut sauce,duck,fried ice cream🤤 service was really good too. Would definitely recommend.

This place will surprise you how humble and sweet the waitress is, and the food will taste great and portions will be just right. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely meal here today. We were originally put off but the reviews, but we also craving a Chinese meal. The food was fresh and tasty. Service was great. The waitress spoke Croatian and English and the menu had multiple languages. Easy parking across the road. We will definitely be going back. Thanks

Amazing Chinese restaurant with great service and very delicious food, especially the special menu 1 and dumplings!

Big portions, prices are at hand, a really comfortable place, not chic, just comfortable. The food is very well prepared, I personally think it's a very good chinese reastaurant and I hope it will work succesfully for a lot of years more :)

Have been here several times I think there duck and noodles are amazing some of the dishes seem to have a similar gravy used but over all food is brilliant the meat is super super tender and I plan on going tomorrow 👍👍👍

Exceptionally good food at a great price. 4 courses and 2 drinks for 2 people only cost £35!!
Service was quite slow, we waited an age for soup and then starters but the main course came before we finished our starters!
But really tasty and good sized portions and a good selection of beers including local brands.
