Konoba Soprano (grill & pizza)

We were traveling along the Istria and it was the Best place. Pasta with ragu of Wild animals perfect!!! Octopus salad the Best, delicious risotto. Everything was perfect, regular prices, good service. 100% recommended 😊

Lunched here yesterday.
A very friendly, helpful and accommodating manageress. We were there mid afternoon and it was very quiet, but it was a holiday (Easter Monday).
I had the slow cooked lamb stew with potatoes. It was a very generous portion of lamb and very tasty. My husband had the grilled squid, again very good and well seasoned. He also had the grilled vegetables. Good portions.
We shared a slice pineapple cream cake, very nice.
The best meal we have had out all week in Pula. Highly recommended.

Throughout my 6 & 1/2 years of living and working across various European cities (incl. Vienna,Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Brussels, Warsaw, Krakow, Napoli, Rome etc), trust me when I assert that I've dined in a fair share of good restaurants (from high-end to moderate ones).
As a friendly disclaimer, I do not claim to be a food critic of any sort, no, far from it (p.s: funny enough, this is my first ever Google review -- thus, testament to how much I loved the experience).

That said, Konoba Soprano is, by a country mile, the best restaurant to have given me the exact value for the money I spent.
It easily tops my list of the best restaurants I've eaten from in Europe. The whole experience was one to savour and thoroughly appreciate.

To begin with, the general ambiance was chill and soothing enough to host different group sizes or an individual/couple. The general staff and waiters were very polite and responsive. And most importantly, the food. Gosh! I dreamt of the lamb I had for 3 straight days. The resoto was extremely tasty too. Not to talk of their freshly baked bread. I could easily go in-depth with this review but I'll summarise by saying --- whenever you're in Pula, Croatia, do not hesitate to add Konoba to your must visits for a tasty meal at an affordable price.

Very nice experience the second time we visited, we got small appetizers on the house and very polite staff.
I would recommend the cevape with kajmak. Pizza is acceptable. The pljeskavica is extra thick.
Would eat there again and again.

The food was amazing - well prepared, fresh ingredients and reasonably priced. The service was among the best we had in Croatia, and our waiter Ivan was extremely helpful and accommodating. We came three times during out stay in Pula, and will definitely come again. Thank you!

I had the squid risotto and it was amazing. My husband also had squid but from the grill. He is from the Balkan and really knows his fish and he too found it to be perfect. The staff was very friendly and were very helpful. We speak the language but I heard them talking to other customers and I found their English to be very good. The food came very quickly. All by all a perfect experience and would recommend!

We've been in Pula for a couple of days now, and we were lookibg everyday for a different place to eat. Everything changed when we found Soprano restaurant. Not only that you can get the best food that money can buy, but also the quantity. Trust me, we were full from a portion and a side dish. Now, this is our obly restaurant that we are going to come to. The atmosphere is great, the serving is top notch and the food - as I said - best of the best.
If you come to Pula, you really need to visit this place!

We ate here on multiple occasions during our stay in Pula. The service and food were always excellent. Good sized portions, and always lots of flavor in the dishes. The cevapcici with kajmak was my favorite.

Very cozy and nice palce. Close to the Aquarium Pula with a quiet nice view. Good and fast food. Amazing pizza and grill. Good and polite service. I recommend this palce a lot. P.S. Good parking spot.

My family and I have been on vacation to croatia plenty of times, and have NEVER received such good service. Our server, Maya was very attentive and accommodating when it came to any questions we had regarding the menu. Her service was spectacular. The food she had recommended consisted of local dishes that tasted phenomenal. We ordered two of the fish plates and a couple of other Croatian dishes which left my family and I full and happy. She ensured that everything tasted good multiple times and her happy attitude made us feel almost at home. Thank you Maya, and the entire crew at Konoba Soprano, for such a wonderful evening. We will be returning in the future without a doubt!

We had Diavolo pizza and salad. The pizza was very tasty and large enough to share between 2 adults. We also shared the salad, which was freshly prepared with a delicious soft creamy cheese. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.

The service was very friendly and suggestive. I ordered fried calamari with a shop salad and it was delicious 🤤 My boyfriend order lamb with potatoes and he loved it too. Would definitely recommend.

Secret Spot! Great dishes and the quality of food is stunning. You can see the haven from the balcony. I've never seen such nice waiters. The ashtray is changed after every cigarette and even our private softdrinks were ice cooled for us. Specail shoutout to Nikolay, the fastest and kindest man in the world.
I could come here every day!

Tasty food, normal price. Recommend to visit

Lovely place. We loved little terrace covered with grapes wine where you can eat in natural shadow. The food was amazing for fair price. We had pljeskavica ,you can really taste that it comes from grill with authentic mediterranean taste. We had good espresso after and if I say it was good than it is good .

We were looking for somewhere to eat pretty late on the Sunday and this place fired up the wood burning oven specially for us.

Delicious Roštilj (a Balkan staple) really filling and reasonably priced. Excellent service.

Absolutely recommend. Especially if you're staying locally. Nice wine too.

We also had a lovely salad. Go for the 2 person platter if you're new to Roštilj it's the local barbecue and very good.

We had veal peka it was out of this world. The house red wine delicious, and we finished the meal with perfect chocolate palacinke with vanilla iced cream. This place has excellent service, delicious food, nice ambiance and plenty of parking.

Super nice and attentive service. Food was good and genuine. Loads of different authentic fish dishes. Highly recommended. We will be back! 👌🏽
