Stone Garden

A beautiful rock garden in a picturesque landscape. We were given a mild delightful wine and to go with it we ordered some delicious cheese and anchovies. We were also allowed to try the homemade liqueurs. The prices are absolutely fair!
PS: They have two tall lovable poochies.

Very lovely down to earth couple that loves nature and the beautiful island of Vis. They created a stone garden and give their guests a very personal welcome and tour! Thanks for your time and for sharing your world Tamara and Men!

Really beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for a stop during a bike ride. Really nice and hospitable Hostess and the dogs are really cute and friedly. I will come back!

Came back the day after, you habe to call in the morning if you want to come by for Lunch or dinner. It was amazing, all the food was locally Sourced and the fish was freshly cought by the husband in the morning. You are being welcomed like an old friend, truly the best time!.

We saw the sign from 'Stone Garden' next to the road and thought, let's see what this is. What happened next is nothing we imagined and turned out to one of the best visits we did on Vis.

Super friendly, warm and welcoming hosts that invited us for a drink like we were old friends into their beautiful self made home. Their friendly dogs made it even more homey. After some fun and good conversations we to leave early again, unfortunately.

We will for sure come back here whenever near again and will recommend this place to everybody!

A random conversation on the beach led to a spontaneous hang out at Stone Garden. What a great place. With amazing wine, great homemade liquor, home grown vegetables, homemade fish, and best of all - hosts Men and Tamara with their two beautiful dogs. Their friendliness and hospitality is unmatched. Absolutely worth a visit.

Lovely experience! The place is graceful and family friendly. The dogs are very sweet and make the whole experience even better.

Incredible place, incredible hosts.
It’s full of simplicity but profoundly welcoming. We went there for the birthday of my wife and just lived an evening full of magic. We are so grateful to our hosts.

We stopped here for a quick bite before attempting the walk to the Queens Cave. They made us a lovely salad with vegetables from their garden, with anchovies and bread. Her partner then gave us some local red wine! She then showed us around her beautiful gardens. It was very quiet, peaceful and welcoming. A lovely spot. :)

Home cooking & Good vibes with a wonderful landscape in an amazing location managed by a modest and very very kind couple, with two dogs which looks like horses but are so adorable.
A visit is absolutely suggested!

First time on Vis, driving around with a scooter I came across a beautiful scene on a small hill...Stone Garden! Just wanted to take a few pictures of the place. I only said 'hello' and hope I'm not bothering' to the host and he welcomed me warmly, took me in as we were old friends or family. Offered me some of the best homemade rakija and told me the story behind stone garden and what 'slow food' is. I really loved everything about stone garden, rakija and especially the host. Thank you for the hospitality and I'm looking forward to seeing you next summer! Ivan Raić

Amazing little gem off the main road between Komiza and Vis. Delicious wine and small plates available, as well as schnapps specialties. I highly recommend a quick stop.

The nicest ppl on the island, really good service and food and the best wine I ever tasted. If you ever visit the island of Vis this place is a must go!

Vrhunski ljudi, predivna lokacija, dobro vino. Puno malih detalja koji čine razliku. Stone garden je mjesto koje pruža posebnu vrstu ugode. Hrana i piće su na razini bilo kojeg restorana na Visu. Mjesto koje apsolutno morate posjetit ako dođete na Vis.
