Nautica Vis Diving Center

Had the most amazing experience with Nautica Dive Center. Eweline (dive instructior) was very very patient and kind. All staff is really nice and makes you feel comfortable - they also follow all safety rules and provide nearly brand new equipment. Definitely want to come back for more war season.

Visited the centre for a discovery dive for my partner, after visiting a few others & not getting the right feel / approach (I’ve dived all over the world, spent a lot of time in a few centres & appreciate the ‘right’ approach for me!). The team were professional, accommodating, friendly & my partner loved his first dive straight off the centre. They were also very quick to turn around & respond, as we were very last minute. Thanks all 👍🏻

Fantastic Dive center! Friendly and helpful staff from the minute you step in the door until you say goodbye. I got to see them operate from two different aspects. As an Experienced diver I did two days of top class diving on deep wrecks, caves and swim throughs, but my two kids also dived the house reef right in front of the shop. They loved it, particularly the ancient bits of amphora embedded in the reef. I can highly recommend this place and will 100% be back.

Professional and kind equipe! I was really scared at the beginning because of a bad experience in the past . Ola, our instructor, was able to explain all the basics of scuba diving, that makes me feel more comfortable and aware!!! Really recommended ☀

Vis is one of the best places to dive in Europe. Plenty of ship and airplane wrecks, rich sealife, good visibility and nice surroundings. Nautica is super profesional dive center run by competent, smiling and friendly people. Highly recommended!

Super professional and kind hearted people. As organized with the diving as with all the booking and such. Very helpful from the first to the last minute you put your foot in there. Excellent dive guides as well. The staff is polish and there are plenty of poles diving here, but don't be put off since everyone speaks superb english as well.

Highly recommended and will be back myself.

We did the basic dive course one afternoon at Nautica. The whole team was really welcoming and caring and our instructor Mariusz was fun, attentive, and made us feel in completely safe hands. I was quite anxious at the start but he did an amazing job of making me feel more at ease and we completed a 50-minute dive! It was just our first dive but we still saw some sea creatures and ancient pots beneath the surface. Would love to come back to complete the full open water course here :)

We did our OWD course at Nautica on the Vis island on the break of August/September 2022. We were a family of six, two adults who never dived before, and four kids, the youngest still 10 year-old. From the getgo, it was an amazing experience. We had two fabulous instructors, Ewelina and Mariusz, who took turns and showed to us different angles of diving and trained us to feel safe and comfortable under water, and to explore the underwater world to full extent. After one week and many hours spent either on drill or exploration, we feel well-trained and prepared to continue our diving experience. I have been through many trainings in my life, and only very exceptionally, I had similar level of satisfaction. We can only make glowing remarks about Nautica and we wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone eager to either start or continue this adventure.

We booked our SSI open water course with Nautica Vis for my ten year old boy and me. This was the first scuba experience for both of us.
Evelina and Mariusz both were excellent and capable at relieving my son’s anxiety. Both tutors were very experienced and confident in the water and I had no issues relying on them to look after my boy.
Evelina’s classroom teaching style was very well adapted to my boy’s attention span.
This was far better than a pool experience, and we had exposure to the shallow waters in the Adriatic on day one.
I would highly recommend them especially for your first experience.

Completed a freediving course there this summer. Super professional and kind hearted team. Their motto holds true. Ola, my instructor, was hands down the best teacher I have ever had. She was incredibly patient and helped me overcome some deep-seated fears that stem from bad experiences. Until next summer! :)

A very positive and professional dive center. Vis is a wonderful island for scuba diving as there is a lot to see. If you like wrecks they got you covered, if you prefer to explore the aquatic life, they have fantastic spots. I truly recommend diving with them as I have been returning to them every couple of years. Yes they are run by a polish team but they are very well organized and their prices are competitive as well!

This is one of the best diving centers I have ever been. Crew is a team of professionals that knows how to organize safe tours and how to spread scuba diving "madness" 😉 Equipment repair and gas blending services are also on international quality level. We had a wonderful time with Nautica! As a group of 7 persons we stayed at two apartments via Nautica and dived every day.

Great and helpful staff. OWD course was led with exceptional care and attention to detail to teach the students to be able to handle most situations underwater. We were taught by instructor Bartek and we very recommend him. Each dive (non-pool) was in a different spot, so it was a great way to explore interesting dive spots around Vis. We will surely come again next time ;)

We did dives with this dive center and with an other dive center on the island. And by far Nautica diving center is the best. They are very friendly and professional exactly what you can expect from a dive center. It doesn't matter if you are an beginner or more experienced. Thank you again for this great experience of the underwater world of Vis!

The staff is awesome and they provide good equipment and safe dives. Customer service is not the manager’s forte. He should stay in the back office and have another staff member deal with the public.

I visited Nautica Vis Diving Center from Finland during July 2019. The first contact with Anna Gdowska was very easy through the centers Facebook page Messanger app.

Anna replied to my message within an hour. She was was able to book me an appartment, help with the ferry schedules, told about their dive equipment and the payment was easy.

Whatever I needed to ask, Anna replied quickly and I had my 3- day diving trip organised in a day

The arrival to Split was simple by flight from Helsinki and it was worth to book the Jadrolinja ferryticket beforehand. Anna came to pick us up a van and drove us to the dive center where I has able to organise my diving equipment for next days diving. Then she drove us to our appartment which she had booked (and she had sent good photos of the apartment beforehand) so we could settle down.

The diving was very well organised. Everyone helped loading the tanks, equipment and weights into the van which drove us to the harbour where we departed to our dives. The departure time of the van was 0900- 1000, one day we had a 1300 departure.

Needles to say, diving in Vis is fantastic. The visiblity was easy 30 metres and there was always a good brieffing of the coming dive with pictures of the reef, caves, wreck. Divemaster was always present to show us around. I had Trimix- card so I was also able to do 2 technical dives to wrecks Vassillos and Brioni which very nice experiences. I dived with the owner Pjiotr Stós who also takes great photos underwater.

The dives are done during the same boat trip so we were back to dive center by 1500 o'clock which was nice. At the dive center, one can use the tools to take care of ones equipment.

Seriously, if you are looking for a nice diving holiday with good company give Nautica Vis Diving Center consideration.

We spent three days diving with Nautica and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have dived all around the world so I have a lot of points of comparison. Our dive guides Franck (sorry if I spelled this wrong) and Ola were thoroughly professional, meticulously organised but also really fun to dive with. One of the dives I did was a little deep (below 45) and I could not wish for a better buddy - reassuring without being fussy. The operation here is focused on Polish divers and seems not to get high in search results from English language web sites which is a shame as they speak perfect English and brief in both languages.
The diving itself is some of the best in Europe - excellent visibility and some great wrecks. Croatia seems not to be a well known dive destination in the UK but I think Vis island should be. If you can do dives to 40m then the B24 plane and the Brioni and very very good. This is a great location for any diver but for people wanting deeper practice there are truly special sights.
