Flavours, quality of ingredients, presentation - everything is top notch. Service is great and the restaurant has a pleasant traditional vibe.
Fuži with truffles and shrimps were the best I ever had.

If you want to come for dinner, you better book in advance. Few days in advance 😄 Lunch is easier.

Absolutely delicious food and great service, could not recommend this place enough! We both had pasta and both dishes were stunning- beautifully balanced flavours and well presented. Our host was one of the best I have had in any restaurant. Food absolutely blew us away with outstanding dining experience that surpassed all expectations. From the warm and attentive service to the stunning food presentation, every aspect of our visit was exceptional.

Our waiter went above and beyond, taking the time to explain the menu in detail and ensuring we made the perfect choices. The octopus salad and fish and artichoke starter were beautifully presented and bursting with incredible flavors, showcasing the true essence of the sea.

For the main course, the cottage cheese and spinach ravioli with gamberi were a creamy delight, while the cuttlefish and octopus with polenta were a true culinary masterpiece. The wine selection was exceptional, and the fig dessert was heavenly.

Their unwavering commitment to sourcing fresh, local ingredients that are in season is evident in every sumptuous dish they serve. As we embarked on our culinary journey, we started with the octopus salad and fish carpaccio – both starters were a harmonious explosion of flavors, showcasing the exceptional quality of the ingredients. The richness and vibrancy of each bite bore testimony to their dedication to providing the finest dining experience.

For our main course, we savored the Boškarin meat and Skate fish, both of which were masterfully prepared and delivered an exquisite taste experience. The melding of flavors was exceptional, a true testament to the culinary artistry at Konoba Valle Losca.

And then came the dessert – a homemade almond and olive oil gelato cake that was simply celestial. The intertwining of these flavors on the palate was a delightful symphony that resonated long after the meal had concluded.

One cannot overlook the incredible warmth and knowledge of the staff. Vili, who guided us through the drinks menu, and Sanjin, who eloquently explained the intricacies of each dish, made our dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Their friendly demeanor and expertise enhanced our visit, making it all the more memorable.

Absolutely awesome dinner experience. We got lucky getting the big table the same day but the place only has like 7 or so tables total so book ahead. All food is local sourced and organic...and is cooked to perfection across the board. The menu changes daily so there's going to always be something new and exciting. The beef cheeks and stingray were amazing. The staff were super friendly, helpful and genuine. Definitely recommend!

Wow, wow, wow! Opatija Riviera has some really good restaurants but this charming and authentic restaurant tops them all. It is a small place nestled in a quaint fisherman village of Volosko just north of Opatija. I highly recommend making a reservation because otherwise you will not get a seat. The menu is composed of all local ingredients. Everything we ordered was delicious. Entrees were well thought out and packed with flavor. My favorite was tuna carpaccio and truffle pasta with shrimps. My husband loved the steak. The prices were reasonable and almost too good for the quality of food. Great job Josip!!! We will see you again.

Perfect! Really deserves high rating. Local istrian food, each day with daily fresh offering so after first lunch booked next day.
Tasty apertizers (winter occtopus salad is best!), pasta dishes taste great in fish or meat variant. Fish and beef cooked to perfection. Their ice cream cake is great, do not skip tiramisu or hot figs with cottage cheese. This will become our regular spot when in the area.
It is small place (4 tables inside) so reservations are almost a must.

We stopped for lunch on our way back and ate really well here. Lovely setting on a little terrace with a little bit of sea view. The antipasti were especially great, but also the ice cream cakes. Service is very friendly and attentive. We will save it for our next trip in the area.

Excellent food with even better service. Our boy was 6 today and they allowed us to bring a cake which they served for us with candles.
Also, the mash with the liver was over salted, but before we are any the waiter told us of the issue and brought out another side dish ready. Fantastic, deserves the 5stars.

Best dinner we have had in Croatia! You can really taste the quality ingredients and local produce. A very professional waiter. Make sure to book a table, it seems to be a very busy place (understandable)!

Michelin star meal! 3 course fish meal, octopus salad with chickpeas, fresh baked bread & olive oil, fish soup with white bean purée base & shrimps with slivers of sage, salt crusted sea bass on top of pumpkin purée! We've had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff was exceptional, our waiter made us feel incredibly welcome and took his time to explain each dish on the menu in detail. The restaurant offers a delightful selection of both fish and meat dishes.

We started with the octopus salad and marinnada valle losca, and the flavors were mind-blowing. For our main courses, we had the ravioli with cottage cheese with spinach in gamberi sauce. I can confidently say that it was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. The flavors were rich, the textures were perfect, and every bite was pure bliss. We also had the gratinated cuttlefish with polenta, which was bursting with flavor and exceeded all expectations. Amazing!!!

The restaurant also offers an impressive selection of wines and some very nice desserts. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect for a warm summer night at the seaside with great seafood.

Overall, I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our time at this restaurant. Don't miss the opportunity to dine at this culinary gem, it's truly a must-visit for food enthusiasts!!!

A proper gourmet place. If you have discovered or heard about this place and you really enjoy food in an artistic, gourmet way and are open for new things - go here! I am so happy that I was brought to this place by a person that visits more often. What to expect? Unusual dishes, full of flavours and artsy way of preparing and serving with a story behind. Great service, skilled waiters - full package. I will come back for sure!

Wow really glad we made the stop here for some nice homemade pasta dishes, one with rump steak, the other with truffles which is in season from September through December. Topped this off with the homemade ice cream cakes. What a great find. Highly recommended. Probably a good idea to make a reservation too.

We were so glad to be there in low season and get a table. There is no written menu - the lovely waiter told us what he could offer that evening. The food was very delicious and elegantly served. It was really good experience! In high season, book a table well in advance!

This small restaurant is one of the top places I’ve eaten. Great local ingredients, flavor combinations in perfect balance. Above all, super friendly, great service.

Wowww! I am not a pasta eater, but this turned me around. Best pasta ever eaten in my life. I wander what does the truffle and shrimp pasta taste like, not available now.
Service is exceptional, the waiter explains every possible dish I am interested. 5 star!
