Biokovo Nature Park - Skywalk

I highly recommend visiting this skywalk. I rented a motorcycle because they only allow cars if you have a reservation. Bikes don’t need a reservation

Must see🤩 amazing view of the landscape, the skywalk is crowded with people but I still recommend seeing it. Price per person is about 8€. It is about 20min. It is about 20min drive from lower gate to the view point, the road is very winding and there are switchbacks and the road is wide enough for one car, so if you meet another car on the way up or down you have to somehow agree who will get out of the way..the view is worth it, I highly recommend it. .

What an awesome experience!!!!! We truly enjoyed visiting the nature park! MAKE SURE TO BUY TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME!!! The road isn’t as bad as everyone says, just drive carefully! The views are breathtaking! The skywalk is great and if you have time, go all the way to the top!

Breathtaking view but also adventurous car drive - especially the stretch from the skywalk to the top Sveti Jure. Buy your entry ticket online ahead of your trip because per hour only 20 cars are allowed to go up - and once you see the road you know why 😁.

Beautiful views and good roads.
Roads are doable when using common sense. You can see the cars coming from the opposite direction in time and there’s plenty of space to wait for oncoming traffic.
I’d recommend booking the earliest slot. No traffic from the opposite direction and very nice with the sunrise.

Completely worth the $10 a person! The park beauty is rustic and majestic and the view to die for! The one lane, two way road is a little harrowing and not for the novice driver. Must see!

It was excellent. I'd read lots of reviews and thought the drive would be a lot worse. It was fine. Going up we passed the convoy coming down , they mainly stopped for us and coming down we had to pull into a gap to allow the 20 cars past. Yes there are hair pin bends and the rd is very narrow but it was fine. We also passed wild horses going down. The views on the skywalk were amazing, we were lucky and had a really clear view. Definitely worth the drive. If you don't like heights or are not a confident driver then I would possibly think twice though

I won’t lie… I am not happy with heights. But I did it! First time clung on like a baby and second time was more relaxed. Stunning views.

Great place to get a breath taking view. We also hoped to use the sky bridge but it was unfortunately temporarily closed until 1st of June. Nevertheless it was great to hike around, push ourselves a bit and get accustomed to the local wildlife and nature. Be sure to take it safe near the cliffs!

Very nice views from the Sky walk and the ride there is extreme. Be sure to buy tickets online in advance, otherwise you won't be able to enter. It is a 14 km ride up the steep mountain on a narrow road where cars can pass each other only in road pockets, that is why the traffic is controlled and there are limited tickets available for certain time slots. The road is good though, so you don't need a special vehicle to go up, scooters and busses don't have any problems except that the road is wide enough only for one car. It is not possible to buy the ticket at the entrance. The views going uphill are wonderful and you can meet friendly horses, goats and cows on the way. From the Skywalk you can go 9 km more up the mountain to the peak which offers even more amazing views. There is a short path to a little church on the top of the mountain. You must go there if you plan to be in the area.

May be a bit of drive from the the resorts ,
But worth the visit ,and escape the heat ,I would use a tour company if you are not use during up mountains ,as road is very narrow and you may be required to reverse many times as there are only so many passing places ,but the views are amazing .
We chose to go to the top of the mountain and added the bonus of the sky walk ,this only half way up the mountain ,so I advise paying a little extra and seeing it all ,👍👍

During our stay in Croatia I believe it was the best point when talking about price/experience ratio. If I remember well it was 10 euro per person and you can go to skwyalk by car through beautiful and a bit risky path. Unfortunately the weather in our case wasn't the best but anyway I would recommend. Didn't took a chance to go higher to the top of the mountain but we'll do next time, for sure! Check the weather and book your tickets, without it it can be probably some waiting in the row on start.

The views from here are incredible. You can easily drive up here but there is always a long wait and you can only visit for a limited amount of time. Coming to here on a bike means you don't have to worry about traffic or time limits.

It is an incredible park, and while driving to the top you can see amazing view: mountains, horses...
And if you go there, don't forget to bring some warmer clothes, because on the top it's colder.

Very nice view! It was worth going up. I do not recommend own car. Only a few cars are released at a time, the bus has priority. It carries a single-lane, narrow serpentine.

Great view, probably the best during the sunset. The way up is a steep hill, cars are going in both directions but there are spots where you can pass by each other. Also you have to buy tickets up front if you want to see Skywalk.

The park is a must visit place. Magnificent view, marked trails, several levels of difficulty and duration.
Things to note:
* Buy tickets online and reserve a time slot. Working hours may vary due to season and weather.
* Plan to finish before sunset as in the mountains it gets dark quickly.
* Make sure to arrive in advance to get maps and info - these are not available on the top.
* There are also no restrooms on the montain, so look for the restaurant if you need one.
* If this is your first visit then multiply suggested route time by 1.5 at least. Trail of 45 mintues took us more than an hour of fast walking as we frequently stopped for taking photos and just enjoying the view.
* All trails are marked with the same color, so it is easy to get "lost" and move to adjacent tack unintentionally.
* There are few places closer to the mountains tops where you will have network connectivity - do not rely heavily on phone or internet for group communication and navigation.
* If you choose to download free pdf maps from official site, please note that they are too heavy/huge to work with them on a smartphone as-is.
* It takes half an hour to get from entrance to skywalk by car as it is narrow road for one car only - you will wait in the pockets in case of traffic incoming going the other way.
* Slow down while driving on the turns with mountains and trees blocking your vision and horn. In addition to the drivers there are horses that can wonder on the road. One of them just walk in front of our car out of the bushes.
* It will be cold on the top by the evening. It was +28° in the end of September and we were swimming in the morning, but we had to put jackets and gloves in the mountains the same afternoon due to the winds and walkinf on the shadow side.

Recomended to take a trip there for magnificent views.

Some pro tips:
> Take your car only if you are confident driving. It is really steep and very tight with other cars trying to go down. There are only 20 cars admitted per hour. Make sure to either arrive early or wait 1 h (in the off high season).
> if by car, drive all the way up to the skywalk.
> you can go by bus with a prebooked trip (ask in your hotel). Buses have priority and you won't have yo wait.

Very nice view, same the road to get there. The road continues approx. 7 km to 1770m, but most tourists stopped only at the skywalk. I recommend going up, the view is much wider, and the road more... "interesting" :)
