Hotel Tamaris

A reasonably sized hotel with an extraordinary restaurant and amazing staff. We fully enjoyed our 7 day stay here for the second time. We will surely come back.

Very nice hotel with an excellent staff which gives you 5 star service. Our room was to full expectations and the location almost on the beach could not be better. Do not miss the restaurant Freyja.

Hotel Tamaris is perfect located at the beach. The food was great and the staff did all their best to make our holiday as good as possible. You could rent a padle board, bicycle, and work out in the gym.

Really nice hotel in Tupeči with swimming pool and beautiful beach. Rooms are beautiful.

We had a wonderful 9 night stay at the lovely Aparthotel Tamaris, which is situated right on the beach near the beginning of the promenade. It’s in a fairly quiet stretch but only a stones throw from the restaurants. The apartment had 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 single and a double sofa bed in the large sitting room) - it was very comfortable, airy and clean with a beautiful sea view from our spacious balcony. It was perfect for our family of 4 which included my 11 year old and my elderly mother. We had a bathroom which included a bath with a jacuzzi and an extra toilet/sink. The pool was not big but it was very pleasant and always quiet and we were on right next to the sea anyway. The breakfast was good and offered a reasonable selection, with the option of freshly cooked eggs and waffles each day. The Restaurant Freyja served good quality food though was not cheap. Overall service was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay, definitely recommended!

Everything was excellent

- room was very clean, spacious and cozi; the bed was very comfortable
- bathroom was nice and clean; shower cabin was quite huge
- breakfast was varied and tasty; cheese (gouda, cream cheese), different types of ham, different types of pepperoni, vegetables, fruits, yogurts, pancakes; furthermore you could order eggs benedict, pouched eggs, omelette or waffles
- staff was very professional and friendly
- parking was spacious
- beach was just in front of the hotel
- discount for renting paddle board
- booked an extanight (same price as initial booking, same room)
- location was just perfect; right at the beginning (or end) of Tucepi, so not very crowded or noisy but very close to restaurants and shops
- there was a small problem with the minibar, it was not cooling; we announced the reception and someone came to fix it; few days later, it was broken again but it didn’t bother us (yet, after check out the said that it would be replaced)

The great place to spend your holidays near the sea. We have booked the superior see view apartments. They were amazing! The best sea view I’ve ever had, everything new inside, very comfortable and nice! The service was great! Will come back and recommend for sure

A great little aparthotel next to the wonderful beach, with very kind staff, extremely clean apartment and a very good breakfast in nice surroundings. The only downsides are the lack of any activities or animators for the kids and a very small and always crowded pool area. Other than breakfast, the hotel's restaurant Freya serves very delicious (but also pricy) food.

The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach front and has a pool and terrasse. People are lovely and try their best to help you, we were lent towels and a place to take a shower even after our checkout. The breakfast is very nice and they can cook you hot plates on the spot with eggs and a choice of sides. The restaurant is good too.

Staff at hotel is very nice and very professional. They all speak multiple different languages. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We paid little extra and book a room with balcony. Worth every penny. Beach is just across the street and hotel have a small size of pool as well. Nice and safe parking comes included in price with your room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone .My family and I will return for sure.

One of the best hotels!!

We stayed only one night in hotel Tamaris and we enjoyed every moment. We were greeted with warm welcome and we were given all the help and information needed. Some parts of the hotel is completely new. Contemporary , pretty and clean room was waiting for us on the 6th floor. We paid 107 € for a budget room without balcony yet we still had amazing views of the mountains.
The bed is one of the most comfortable bed I have slept. I had the best sleep ever!! :)
We also tried the hotel restaurant and we were super happy with it. We liked that they had a few selection of dishes that was not the usual food like everywhere else. They have music n activities sometimes on the evening. Breakfast also great, everyone will find something they like, warm or cold food. Don't miss to try the amazing cottage cheese strudel!!! :)

Perfect place for easy vacation. Staff is extraordinary Friendly, polite and most important knowledgeable. They will help to solve any question about your stay or whole vacation. Hands down one of greater place to stay in Biokovo national park area.

The best place I have ever been to, beautiful view and beaches, great and friendly staff, extraordinary breakfast with a beautiful view of the beach. I recommend this hotel for everyone!

We stayed at this hotel two weeks in August 2023 in one bedroom apartment with the front view and balcony. It was gorgeous, clean, airy, bright with a beautiful view of the Adriatic see. We have been in many different high-end hotels throughout the world, Caribbean, Hawaii, US coast, Canada, Europe, but this level of hospitality, as in Tamaris, we have not seen anywhere.

The restaurant ambient is welcoming, breakfast amazing, and dinners’ romantic and delicious. Servers very professional and always there, and only when you need them.

Hotel's reception personnel is another level, cannot say words good enough. Special complements to Nedita and Silva. Both were so resourceful. Nedita was such a big help whatever we needed; and Silva, just pick a language and she would respond, amazing. Every time at the reception desk we felt welcomed and never rushed out.

We even met the owner of the hotel that is also a (great) chef in the restaurant. He was not short of greeting its guest and engage in the conversation whenever he happened to be at the reception area.

Such a pleasant stay and such and extraordinary boutique hotel. I full heartedly recommend it.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at, really! The staff is so friendly and helpful and gave us good tips on what to see and what tourist traps to avoid. Plus you are right on the beach and it's not overly crowded like some other places.

Lovely, clean and well appointed hotel in an excellent position, right on the beach in Tucépi. Nice staff, always willing to serve. Hotel is impeccably clean and a very nice menu is available in the hotel restaurant - Freyja. The hotel has self catering apartments and normal rooms too. We stayed in a superior side view room, which was a very good size and nicely decorated. Bed was a good size and comfortable. Hotel has a small swimming pool, but the beach is beautiful. Clear waters of the Adriatic with very little tide movement (beach shoes are required for this stone/pebble beach) - it's the jewel in the crown for all the properties that run along the pine tree lined promenade. This is a fantastic location for families with children of all ages - it's not a place for teenagers looking for great night life! Croatia offers many beautiful places and this is one of those places. Hotel offers several things that can be hired, including electric bikes (great fun), paddle boards, Kayak. Sun beds are available at the front of the hotel, but only in limited numbers and these tend to be claimed very early in the day (0700) by the usual sun worshippers, who spend the whole day glued to a sunbed from 0900 to late afternoon! This hotel is well worth a visit! Book with confidence..

Especially the crew, reception is always helpful for everything! Silva which works in reception is just amazing! Ana the hotel manager tries her best to be everything in a place!
Ohhhh and you should try the restaurant Freyja there...I’m speechless how tasty food is!

Hotel Tamaris is a great place to stay when visiting Tučepi! Everything was great, especially the personnel! The hotel is very clean and is located beautifully at the end of a long pebbled beach. We can definitely recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting Tučepi

Fantastic location, very clean and well equipped appt. Verkar friendly staff, nice restaurant with a great menu and excellent breakfast. Gym, Spa and MTB to rent at the hotel. Will definetly be back!

Hotel Tamara is an excellent place for a cozy holiday on Makarska Riviera. It is located in Tucepi outside of the main noise of Makarska. It sits almost at the end of a lovely promenade just by the sea. You can throw a rock into the sea from your breakfast table of you like!

Beach is fairly narrow and full of small rocks. I personally prefer that to sand which goes everywhere, the only downside is that you probably need some swimming shoes, but you can get them for some 50 Kuna everywhere.

Our room was quite nice, nothing extraordinary but clean and fairly new. The balcony is quite big and actually useful for a relaxing evening.

Staff was extremely nice, you can see that they are doing their best. Restaurant at the hotel is one of the best in the area, so you are not missing out by eating at the hotel.

Highly recommended, especially if you are visiting with kids
