It’s been a wonderful trip. Still here now, small room with shower only and an amazing view over the pool and ocean.
Staff are warm and friendly.
There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which is frustrating as when booking I was told there was.
We are half board. You have to pay for a drink with an evening meal and no you cannot have tap water. I refuse to pay nearly £3.90 for water every time I’m thirsty.
Location is perfect, near everything needed and a large selection of excursions available. The skywalk among many being absolutely fantastic !
Large selection of food, hot and cold. That’s after you’ve been shoved and nudged and queue cut by an abundance of tourists.
No snack menu however unless you want peanuts.
All in all I’d recommend but bring your own travel kettle!!!

I stayed there two nights at the beginning of October. It has a great location near the beach. It's a big hotel with nice pools and several sitting areas. Breakfast and dinner were great with many options. Staff were kind and helpful. I recommend.

We stayed in the hotel at the beginning of September 2023. Good value for money. The rooms are clean and well equipped, the food is very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and the sea is just a few steps away. I recommend.

Perfect service, absolutely perfect location, exceptional cleanliness, very nice restaurant terrace. Only food preparation could be better. Food is very fresh but could be a bit better prepared. Some dishes are great but mainly they're average. This is the only, let's say, weaker point of hotel.

Simply amazing. Only thing that is missing is espresso coffee served in the restaurant for breakfast.

Spent 10 days here. Great hotel. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but needn’t have worried. We found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and well run. Staff were always more than willing to help.
We had bed and breakfast only as prefer to go out to eat and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from (although bear in mind that they all tend to have the same things).
Breakfast at Hotel Alga is plentiful and there is a huge variety. It does get busy but after you’ve been a couple of times you find out where things are which makes the process quicker.
The hotel is right on the beach so we didn’t use the pool which seemed quite busy and small for the size of the hotel. True to form for most hotels the sun loungers always seemed to be lacking in quantity but I would say ditch the pool and enjoy the beach (stony but better than sand everywhere in our opinion).
Our only gripe was the air con which was inefficient unless you left it on all day and night and kept the balcony doors closed. Even then at night it could be too warm at times.
All in all we would highly recommend Hotel Alga and would love to return.

Rooms very small not much storage space, and no balcony. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff all pleasant.
Was very difficult to get soya milk had to ask every morning, and some mornings said they didnt have any so had to get our own from the local shop, which wasnt a problem.
Pool area clean and looked after as was the reception seating area.
Was disappointed that we had to pay €70 for a travel cot which we wasnt told about at time of booking, even though we had booked our 9 month old grandaughter in.
Reception staff could be a bit more happier and helpful!!

My family and I are currently in this hotel. We are so satisfied with everything, stuff is so pleasant and helpful., food is fresh and tasteful. We are on a second floor, I dont know who is cleaning our room, but everything is always so clean and neat, i love that because we have little baby, that is something I didn't find often in other hotels. We will come again. Edit: Cleaning lady's name is Mila, I just found out, I want to give her credits for such a great job she is doing.

We went as a couple for our wedding anniversary in October. I was a quiet season, so perfect for a romantic getaway. Food was lovely, staff really friendly. All inclusive package worth it for food not for drinks. Tennis and bike hire was included with all inclusive which was fun.

Main things they could do better... There was no coffee facilities in the room and the towels were really thin and not soft.

The servise was excellent, very pleasant happy people. With the beach being close to the hotel you can also enjoy a very big pool. The location itself is great and it leads to a great walk area.

Rooms were a bit old already and would need some renovation, stayed here in 2021. But great food, great stuff and place. Would recommend if price is right

Beautiful lounge bar in hotel with best coffee in town. Pleasant service and beautiful, refreshing interior of the lobby bar. I loved spending time here.

We were very satisfied with our stay at this beautiful beach-front hotel in Tucipe, 🇭🇷. The room was big enough for a family of four with 2 little kids. The buffet breakfast and dinner are sufficient. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a free parking outside few meters away from the hotel. The price is reasonable and it's a perfect place if you want to visit Split & Makarska. We will definitely book again if we ever come back to this area and Dubrovnik.

Very nice hotel, very nice food, great staff. I had a beautiful vacation with my wife and our 1yo. The location of the hotel is fantastic, especially the restaurant's terrace. We really enjoyed our breakfast and dinner "at the beach".

I visited this hotel one year before covid and I still miss it. Hotel is really great, amazing views , just by the beach. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Food choice was great, and the taste was good. I would really recommend visiting this hotel.
