Beautiful place of historic significance, well preserved for display for younger generations.
Great view!
Take the route by stairs, holes in the walls of the water tower made me remember and made me think.

The price of the ticket is a bit high, but I would visit again.

Impressive views from the top. About 10 Euro per person to take the lift up. Much evidence of damage from the war. Easily walkable from the docks.

Really worthy place! It tells you an uneasy sorry of Croatian Homeland war, grants you with a nice view from the top of the tower and pleases you with a good piece of modern architecture. You have two options to get on top. By foot (2 eur cheaper) or by elevator. I recommend the first option, cause stairs are very atmospheric. Coffee in nearby cafe is also great addition to the museum.

This is a place to remember… a place to understand the past and reflect about peace…. The views are stunning from the top floor… you can pay to use the lift or you could take the steps… advise to take the lift. You can pay with card or cash.

Atmospheric reminder of Croatian resistance during their Homeland War. Wonderful views of the town and the Danube from the roof.

Impressive remembrance site. The brutality and pointlessness of war. If you want to sabotage a water tower, a single well placed hole would have done the trick... Firing over 640 projectiles at it just shows the level of monstrosity that happened during the early 90s Balkan wars....

The main "attraction" of visiting Vukovar is the shelled out water tower damaged during the Croatian independence war with Serbia. The tower was only recently renovated and turned into a museum. After taking the elevator up to the top is a small inside area with information and videos about the war in the region. Then you can either walk up a ramp or take the elevator to the top for views of the surrounding area, including the Danube and Serbia. Fee to get in, pretty small and worth out. Free parking on site and a cafe. Small gift shop too. No dogs allowed inside the museum/water tower. Highly recommend.

Nicely restored memorial, to visit certainly. Tickets are a little more expensive, but it's worth it.

Very depressing. Unbelievable how human can become. Of course there are many war memorials. But when you see the damage to the tower and how he still stand after this crime which happened to this area.
I am so glad that I grew up in a stable and free country.

Another memorial to the heroic defenders of Vukovar during senseless aggression of neighbours and the former so called Jugoslavenske Narodne Armije supported by the Serbian regime. Wonderful effort by the city to preserve the tower that was hit by serbs projectiles 640 times.

Historical monument which represents the spirit of town Vukovar as well as the spirit of Croatia.

It took hits many times, but stood there proud to this date.

It was restored a few years ago, but in a manner that it can still show its wounds. There's a lift, a museum on the first floor, as well as a lookout on the top of the tower.

We didn't go inside, due to time limitations.
This is a reminder of the destruction caused during war, and makes us think also about the human and financial cost of such wars.

One really important monument of Croatian Unity in Vukovar! 200 stairs you have to take to the top of the tower and would recommend everyone to take the stairs for the real experience! Extra ordinary feeling 😌when you are on the top of the tower! Tower was made with donations! Highly recommended if you find yourself in this area! Staff very friendly!
