Grapčeva cave

Can only be visited with a guide either on set days or private tour. Private tours at 60 Euros for 2 hours very reasonable. Includes also visit of the village Humac and lavender distillery. The guide knew a lot of local history, plants etc. Worthwhile. As it requires a 20-30 minute walk to cave not recommended mid-day when it's too hot.

Nice daily trip! Highly recommended to do this tour with local guide. We were there with kids 3 and 4 yo and we had a lot of fun.

If you want to go to this cave, you have to come on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at 9.00 to Konoba (restaurant) in Humac (nearby village) to get a guide. The road to Humac is ok and there is a free parking space near the village. The guided tour (50 kn adult person, 30 kn kids) includes a tour of the etno village Humac, its houses and the church. You also will see how wine and lavander oil gets produced, which I found interesting. Then, you go for a 30 min walk to grapceva cave. The last 20m of the path is quite steep, so take your good shoes with you. Also this path requires some slight degree of fitness/endurance, but nothing extreme. Lastly, make sure you take water with you. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Odwiedziliśmy dziś jaskinię z przewodnikiem. To jedyny możliwy wariant. Nie przepadam za grupowym zwiedzaniem, ale rozumiem konieczność ochrony jaskini. Przewodnik opowiedział o historii wioski, jaskini i okolicy. Opisał zwyczaje cykad i właściwości rosnących wokoło roślin.
Wycieczka zajmuje około dwóch godzin i kosztuje 40 kun od osoby. W sezonie start w poniedziałki, środy i piątki, o godz. 9.00 spod Konoby Humac.Wygodny dojazd asfaltem od drogi 116 do Humac, lub malowniczą drogą gruntową od Zavali.

Izgalmas kalandtúra. Bakancs, túrabot nem árt a meredek hegyoldalra.

Thr trail is awesome and the view is astonishing but it was hard to find and the cave itself was closed (you can only go there with a guide). Needs to be better explained at the entrance, at least. Worth a visit anyways!!

Other days and hours it is not possible to get there because cave is closed with iron fence. It is long way there (cca 2 km - but it feels like it takes eternity in hot weather) and its not really a road, more like a big rocks and small rocks se of different color than rest of area. Way is going straight from top of the hill to halfway down. I do not recommend even trying it for small child, old people and cardiacs. Have at least 1litter of water per person. Little big adventure.

Must go with a guide.
Don't try to go by yourselves because the road is extremely difficult to drive with a normal car (not 4x4) and in the end you're not allowed to go inside without a guide.

Krasné místo,boužel jsme se dovnitř nedostaly.Otevřeno je jen pondělí,středa,pátek asi v 9 rano tam musíte být.Hledali jsme v konobe pruvodce ve středu cca kolem 11hod,ale nikdo nikde.Vydali jsme se na cestu,krásná vycházka,ale u jeskyně jsou zamknuté mříže.
