Konavle Safari

This was an absolutely first rate experience to see a little of the local life away from the cities and tourist spots. We had a fantastic guide who took us to his home village of Ljute where we saw his neighbour's sheep guarded from wolves by Kangal dogs and he told us about village traditions and land that had been in his family for hundreds of years! We saw a place where wild boar had been digging! The village was beautiful 😍 with waterfalls and working waterwheel and a lovely lunch was included in the tour price. The wildflowers and fruit trees were simply beautiful. After a leisurely lunch we were up a rugged road on the heather clad cliff top with stunning views. We did a couple of viewpoint stops. Amazing I would highly recommend and another plus point was that this day did not have too early a start or too late a finish.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. We had such a fantastic experience and Mato was the best guide. You see parts of Croatia that you wouldn’t usually see and the lunch was delicious.

What a fantastic adventure and highly recommended as a trip for your vacation. Tour guide mato was excellent throughout the trip stopping to allow photos and giving some background history. Lunch included at a beautiful setting and probably the best food I’ve eaten all holiday. 👍

We had a nice 4x4 ride on July 8th. We saw beautiful landscapes, a superb waterfall and lunch in a restaurant by the river (the charcuterie was excellent!).

Big thanks to Mato for today !! This safari is the best thing you can do by coming to Dubrovnik or Cavtat. It allows you to see different things from the touristic areas and yet some of the best ! So much history is also included in this trip. And Mato is the best host you could imagine, we all laughed a lot and had the best day thanks to him :)

Ça a été une magnifique expérience de découverte des paysages de la Croatie avec en bonus un parcours de flaques d'eau au vue de l'orage de la veille très sympa à traverser. Sensations garanties et paysage à couper le souffle.
Le guide est très sympa, souriant et nous a appris plein de choses. Le restaurant le midi est très bon.
Très très bonne journée je recommande les yeux fermés !

Belle expérience avec Matheus nôtre guide d'un jour (merci google translate) qui malgré nôtre déplorable connaissance de l'anglais, à su partager la passion de sa région en particulier Lujta qui il faut bien dire est riche d'histoire et d'une bonne gastronomie. A découvrir sans modération. Merci Matheus.
