Apartments Zvonimir Mirca,place by the sea

Everything we needed, a lot of space. Quite private-like feeling. Almost "private" beach in front of. Very friendly an helpful owner.
+ Bonus: A lot of cat's 😎

Super miejsce jeśli ceni ktoś sobie spokój, ciszę i bardzo krótko spacer na plażę.
Właścicielka to już gatunek ginących dinozaurów.
Jej życzliwość, zaangażowanie i pomoc na bardzo dużym poziomie.
Reasumując cały pobyt oceniam na 6 z plusem.

Top Lage, direkt am Meer. Sehr gastfreundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, immer für den Gast da. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wohnung sehr sauber, gross und geräumig. Hatten vier Balkone mit super Ausblicken. Auto immer sicher auf kostenlosen Parkplatz. Sehr empfehlenswert. Erholung pur. Jederzeit wieder.

Odlicna lokacija, prostoren apartma, velika terasa. Mirna okolica, zelo primerno za druzine. Gospa Vedrana je zelo prijazna in ustrezljiva gostiteljica.

Really clean and spacious apartment. Perfect for a family of 4. Vedrana is a great host and I wish her luck with this place.

There were things that bothered us. Like the couch was too small for 4 of us to sit and watch TV. There were no hangers in the bathroom for towels, knives not sharpened, and lack of quality kitchenware is a standard in Croatian apps. We went and bought a sharp knife. There is no warm water in one of the bathrooms, just hot or cold. The apartment was on the ground floor and while we prefer that because of kids, you really don't have privacy here. If you don't close shutters everybody (even neighbors) can see in the apartment and all the other guests are walking near the windows and terrace when they go to the beach. This is not practical in hot summer nights when you want windows opened at night. There were a lot of cats who occasionally went into the apartment.
Also, it is good to mention that the host lives in the same house on the first floor, the owner had cameras and night lights right above the terrace of our app. In the morning's host mother usually worked in the garden a few meters next to our terrace. If you love your privacy this is not the place for you.

Mirca village is a disappointment. A lot of apartment buildings were built in no particular order and really close one to another. The beach is also bad, sharp rocks with a lot of seaweed, the only thing good was the pier where you could jump. Until one day we saw sewage in the water. Split is right across Mirca and when the wind was blowing from the Split port all the waste came here. We had to drive to the beaches around the island and that was something that we wanted to avoid.
Only one restaurant of two 😀 was working because of corona and they had no food this year because of Corona. There is one supermarket but works until 2 pm and you need 20 minutes uphill on foot to get to it. So we used the car much more than we usually do.
The good thing about Mirca is the view of Split and the mountains and peace and quiet at night.

Brac island is beautiful but overbuilt and a lot of trash everywhere, even on wild beaches on the south side of the island. The only place that is really beautiful and clean is Bol, but I guess that is because of corona and the lack of people this year.

Everything I mentioned above is a standard in Croatia. We stayed in places all over the Croatian coast, some more some less expensive than this one. Just too many apartments crammed together with nothing special to offer.
