Konoba Turanj

It is a cozy place with really delicious food and a very good domestic wine Vugava from the nearby vineyard, excellent hosts, and a pleasant environment... So close but far enough from the crowded seaside. It's worth visiting and coming back again.

Great value for money. The Food was delicious and served well. Moreover the atmosphere was very unique since it is a non-touristic restaurant in farm environment.

Simply incredible. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. It is a real experience and the food is just outstanding.. be aware that the portions are quit big and that you have to preorder in advance.

I can reccomend you to try peka lamb or octopus.

They even make their own spirits, like limoncello and so on. Bought one bottle straight away.

We ate here this evening and loved it. From the table we could see the vegetables being picked from the restaurant garden then prepared in the kitchen. The food was excellent, the home made bread in particular amazing and the friendliness of the service made it feel like we'd stumbled on a hidden gem.

We stumbled across this place driving back to our hotel. And we’re so glad we did! Our host was fantastic, very chatty and accommodating - his recommendations were spot on. The fish was as fresh as it could be, speared that morning by the chef and perfectly cooked. The location was rustic & relaxing. We toured the restaurants small holding and played a game of bocce between courses - we even got a look in the kitchen to see our dish being prepared. And after all that the bill was very reasonable. Easily the best place we’ve eaten at during our trip to Croatia!!!

Food was fantastic - fresh fish is drizzled and sprinkled with homemade olive oil which gives the exquisite and unique taste. Blitva was amazing as well.
Wine was even better than the fish, especially the red wine (Dingač) which owner offered for tasting.
Owner and the staff were friendly and very accommodating, especially the owners wife and her sister.
Quality of service is at the highest level, friendly and relaxed.
Prices are reasonable (if you think it's expensive you should stay home and cook for yourself).

Great place and fantastic food. Fresh fish caught by restaurant owner so you can experience true taste of catch of the day 😊 Perfect terrace with sunset view surrounded with pure nature and domestic garden from which they pick up salad and vegetables. You can not ask for more, highly recommended.

Our visit to konoba Turanj was amazing! Food was absolutely delicious, from starters to desserts. This is the place where you can eat fresh local food and get the feeling of authentic Dalmatian cuisine. Recommend 100%!

Amazing amazing amazing. Perfect hospitality. A true dining experience. Beautiful surroundings in the olive trees and vines. Petonq in between courses. Great food cooked by a husband and wife team. Not to be missed for groups. May need to call day before to order.

Tremendous no frills local restaurant with a proprietor who grills meats on an open barbeque. Excellent chicken and lamb with salads and fries. All washed down with local wine. If you are after a sophisticated dining experience with lots of choice this is not for you. But for a relaxed open air meal with friends this place is tops. Can't recommend highly enough. When we were there the staff had no English but we got by in basic German. We don't speak Croatian I'm afraid!

Compliments to the owner, the family. Hope they will continue to run the business. You have to reserve the table and book the meal before you decide to come, we called and organized the dinner by the phone. Great food and atmosphere. Recommended

This is definitively a highlight on our Croatia tour. Private family business, home made products, awesome lamb, good wine and awesome atmosphere. Embedded in pure nature to support and respect each other. 10 stars if possible 👍 keep quality instead of quantity and the open welcoming attitude

Such a lovely place with so much charme! The farm to table concept is amazing. We really enjoyed our evening and loved the food.

Been here in 2018 and this summer, best hosts on the island and food/wine was always amazing. Recommend to anyone passing by.
