Stopped for an early lunch. Was the best decision of the day. The red wine is easy drinking and the food tasty and delicious. The vegetable platter had a good selection and the tuna salad have very Mediterranean taste. A 10/10 from us.

A must visit on Vis! Delicious daily specials and super friendly staff in a relaxing setting. Make sure to have some vugava, and if you like reds, their plavac is a must try.
The only - is that they’ve almost doubled their wine prices since last year…

We had dinner here but be aware there’s not much to choose from and the dishes are simple. The octopus salad was decent but the “squid soup” with chickpea was amazing. Their wine is also fine but the biggest plus is the laid back atmosphere with suiting music. Good choice for a laid back evening.

Such a wonderful place full of charm and very nice staff. You absolutely have to try their Plavac mali. Vugava (white wine) I also really liked but it’s not for everyone as it is quite complex version of this grape. But very, very interesting.
Black risotto was also wonderful, Viška pogača also really nice and I would have octopus salad anytime. I made this place my go to place on my first 6 day visit to the island and I’m definitely coming back. Keep a great job and stay authentic 🍷

Lovely, simple, 'times passed by' restaurant.

Some menu options are constant, like cheeses, pršut and the likes, including the 'pogača' which is a must, consisting of onions, tomato and salted anchovies baked in closed pizza like dough 😋😋😋.

Warm dishes are changed daily, are on the larger portion side and super tasty. Great wine, great service and a great location with a soul. A must visit when on the island of Vis!

Tavern placed in the middle of the island. They offer some local specialties such as Komiška Pogača. Great ham and cheesr. Serving craft beer.

A nice place to stop and take refreshements, in the middle of the island.

Homemade local dishes. Different daily menu. You have to stop here after visiting any beach or winery. Don't forget to try Komiška pogača.

This inn is located halfway between Vis and Komiza, next to the field where the Allied airfield was located during World War II. It is apparently named after the airfield. The interior is tastefully furnished with a selection of objects from the recent past, with a musical soundtrack to match.
For a light lunch, we chose anchovies, octopus salad, a plate with homemade cheese and prosciutto, olives and Komiža pastry (love at first sight). The food was excellent. In general, I feel that for a real culinary experience, you should choose the interior of the island rather than the restaurants along the rivas of Vis or Komiža.
We had an excellent lunch and drank even better local Plavac wine. You can also order a Homecraft beer from Zagreb - Medvedgrad, which was also excellent.
I recommend a visit!

Charming authentic place with local and seasonal food and awesome wine. Big portions, everything was tasty and fresh. Service is typically Dalmatian, i.e. host performs no emotional labour :)) Will come back!

Great old school restaurant as a perfect stop while exploring Vis.

We had local wine and snack. Few glasses of wine Vugava and local speciality "Viška pogača" were refreshing and tasty as expected.

Best salted 🐟! Coffee and wine is also excellent with home made 🍞!
Cheese and Ham too, not really a place for main course! Beautiful atmosphere, cold walls for hot days

This place appeared like an oasis for us. The wine was excellent and the pasta was just too good. Bread a bit dry, but we didn't really need it to fill us up anyway.
