Uni Rent car rental

I highly recommend Uni Rent to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable car rental in Split. I am considered a young driver at just 22 years old and I was impressed that Uni Rent was willing to rent to me without any additional premiums or extra insurance. The check-in and checkout process was smooth and efficient and the car I was given was brand new with only 3,000 kilometres on it. I had no problems with the car during my rental and I was only charged a small refundable deposit of €300 (credit card).

I researched other car rental companies around Split Airport before booking my trip, with most of the larger rental companies having plenty of negative reviews and excessive prices. I am so glad to have booked in advance with Uni Rent and will do so again in the future if I ever come back to Croatia. 5/5 stars from me. 🇭🇷

This Gentleman save’d our roadtrip along the Dalmatian coast. We had rente’d a car online from another company, but when we arrived they didnt accepted our credit card unless we bought all kind of extra insurens and what not. But then Dejan from Uni Rent came to our rescue. Not only did he gave us a very good discount and a brand new car. He treatet us exceptionally well and gave us a lot of good information about driving in Croatia, parking info and what to be aware of. He was freindly but proffesional all the way thru and we are never gonna use another company whenever we arrive in Split Airport. Thank you Dejan a thousand times.

The best car rental company in Split. We booked a small car for 7 days and we got a new car. We also received the deposit very quickly. I can recommend this company to everyone who needs to rent a car in Split. The service is very nice and helpful and the price is much cheaper than other companies in Croatia.

I highly recommend uni rent. I tried to negotiate offers with every rental office at the split airport and uni rent was the cheapest by far. The car was in great condition and they let us return the car to another city for a reasonable price. The agent in Split airport was super friendly and even recommended us a list of places to visit during our vacation.

I'm going to be completely transparent, it was really excellent. I booked a Golf from 12 to 19 August because I had been upgraded by Vlado.
The booking on the website was clear and the prices were affordable with good insurance cover. Secondly and most importantly, they accepted debit cards and that's great of them! Lastly, I had a personal problem and the team listened to me and advised me in the best possible way to help me with my booking.

I think this is possibly the best car rental place in all of Croatia. We had to unexpectedly rent a car and the guys at the front desk made it possible for us to rent a car without any hassle despite not having a booking and for a good price. Their service was amazing and they were so funny. The car that we were given was great. All in all 10/10

It was our second time renting with UniRent and we couldn’t be happier. The car that was given to us was perfect. A manual! We drove more than 1800km with it and had no problems.
There’s no hidden costs and the team was nice and friendly.

We received a very good rate when we sent a request directly via the Unirent website (I recommend doing that instead of booking online yourself). The price and conditions were honoured without discussion and the car was in good condition. It is a bit confusing that Unirent is the only rental agency that is still located in the old terminal. Be prepared for a long walk and give them a call when you arrive at the airport to drop it off. The young man working on 11 and 22 Aug was very friendly and provided great service. Only disadvantage: we received the car with an empty tank.

We arrived in Split to find our car rental agency wasn’t able to assist us. We then went to Uni rent and had a fantastic experience - no hidden fees, second driver costs, etc. They were very accommodating & we had a fast and fabulous experience with Dejan. Thank you Uni rent!!!

Dejan was amazing. He came to my rescue whbe avantcar suddenly asked only for my credit card and couldn't use any other debit I had. He is a friendly, confident person who made me laugh and gave me an amazing deal when we were desperate.

We took a car for 1 week. Everything was perfect! We booked a car in advance - 3 months and got the same car as we booked. Thank you for this! Deposit was returned immediately, the same day

The car rented was brand new (less than 2000 km) and the Uni Rent agent, Dejan, was at the complete client service. I would particularly thank him to make my ride in Split that great. I give five stars because unfortunately you cannot go above. I totally recommend!

Great quick service, they accept debit cards and provide last minute reasonable deals. The car was brand new (1700km), return was easy and quick. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful, even with the tips to the restaurants and beaches to check out. Thanks!

Best service, the two younger guys at the desk last friday (11/8 Vlado and his friend) were incredible and very helpful. Car was clean, comfortable and very fuel efficient. I honestly recommend this based on our experience since they were very professional but also had humor!

Amazing!! You can rent with a Debit card too! This saved us, cause we forgot to bring a credit card. The guy working there was super nice, offered us a good price and gave a practically new car! The return of the car was also very easy. There’s no scams or hidden fees, just excellent service! Uni Rent is the best and I recommend it to everyone! Much better than sixt or other global companies with their scams, hidden details and extra fees.

Excellent customer service. After checking multiple other places, this was the only place at the airport that took American Express and also charged the least for extra insurance if we wanted to drive over to Bosnia. Dejan was really helpful and gave us great service and recommendations. He explained everything really clearly. We would definitely use this company again.

Highly recommended! Dejan is the go to guy he helped when no other agency would agree to rent me a car without a credit card in a reasonable price. I rented the car for two weeks with out any issues.
