Aguas Termales Presidente

I visited this place 2 years ago. I went there this year June 2022 because the kids loved it when we came the first time. We where driving to this place when we ran into a huge storm. It was pouring rain so hard that my wiper were at their max. I told the boys that this place might be close due to the rain. We decided to continue anyways. We showed up and it was opened. The lady told me that when it rains they get more people because they likened swim in the hot springs and get the cold rain water on them. We have never experienced that until that day. I loved it. The kids loved it too. They have different sizes of poolsnwith different temperatures as well. That was one in a lifetime experience I would say. To be near a hot springs when it rain on your vacation. The moon and the stars just aligned for us that day. If we are in the area again, we would go there and hope it's raining. Lol.

Great place to relax a few hours on your roadtrip. Good food, water super nice temperature.

Inexpensive access. One can arrive by tuk-tuk, walking or by bike if one desires so. Food options are a little pricey, but there's a hotel in front where one can stay the night. So it's pretty convenient.

Edited 7/2019: they added new ponds. It never disappoints and the road is in so much better shape. This is my happy place.

Arrived just prior noon. We got the grilled chicken, 3 nice pieces, french fries, beans and pickled onions.

Clean and not crowded at all due to Covid.
40 lps entrance, no discrimination if you're a local or foreigner. Cool pools!

De lo mejor que hay en este sector de Honduras. The best place you can find to take a hot water shower. Highly recommend!!!! A few minutes away from Gracias, Lempira.

What a great place to relax at after a long bus ride! The pools were clean, not many places to sit though in the pools. There are free lockers, just bring your own lock. There are changing rooms, showers, WiFi and an on-site restaurant as well. We took the moto-taxi there and back from Gracias, it shouldn't cost more than 100 lempiras for 2 people each way. Entry is It 50 lempiras per adult/foreigner.

Lovely hot springs close to town. Surrounded by trees and with plenty of snack vendors if you're hungry.
