Los Naranjos Ecological and Archeological Park

Lovely walk through the first and marshlands on the north end of Lago Yojoa. The boardwalk it's currently well maintained. There is opportunity to see many bird species known in the region. There is also an archeological site within the park.

Beautiful, well maintained park with scenic vistas of Lake Yojua and the mountains along the boardwalk. Lots of bird watching opportunities for the nature lover. 2000+ year old ruins is cool to witness too - though it is still under restoration. Thoroughly enjoyed it while visiting the lake,

They charge $10 just to walk around the park which is a bit high. I would recommend to visit this place only if you haven't experienced walking in rainforest. There is nothing you are going see expect walking in the jungle with mosquito bites. :)
For the lake view, you can hire the boat just before entering the park .

Really nice trial... into rain forest.. barely see any wild life seem most of them are long gone... very relaxing

Easy to find, good road to get there, well marked trails, clean bathrooms, very clean! This was a great family outing for the afternoon. Pack water and a snack because it’s a 6km walk, but it’s all flat and easy to navigate. Tip: don’t buy honey from the guy out front, it’s watered down and diluted with sugar.

Wonderful place to visit.
We need better tour guides, and more sizes available for shirts.
However, it is a place I recommend. It is a must if you are visiting Honduras.

Nice Nature place lots of trees birds be prepared for a long walk you can see 2 burials but if you are not carefull you just walk by it has a nice small museum people in the park are really welcoming ... pets are allowed.

There are some activities to do here. The kayak is the most interesting.
