We came here during a humanitarian trip and were in awe of this place in the middle of nowhere—at the end of the road on the top of a mountain.
Armin and his son and daughter and other staff have created an incredible eco-tourism lodge.
Two beds in each room with private bathroom and hot showers.
Gourmet farm-to-table food. Everything is homemade and delicious!
Windows surrounding entire lodge to take in the beauty of the area. Beautiful paths encircle the area for viewing the abundant birds and flowers.
A beautiful place, just incredibly difficult to get to and to make reservations.

This is an extraordinary place. If you are looking for nature, this is it. It is tough to get here as you will need a 4x4 vehicle, the real thing, not just a city SUV. The road from Tucuru is in terrible shape and it takes 3 hours to cover 25 km. If you want adventure, you got it. There is a much better road via Teleman and Senahu, but calculate 90 minutes extra. Fantastic scenery, cardamom plantations abound, but you still need a good 4x4. Once you are there, you will be treated with abundant and great food. Armin will take care of you. The 4 double bedrooms with private toilet and hot shower are clean and really pleasant. Shampoo, soap and towels are all there. You almost forget that you are at the end of the world. Due to the bad road I swore I would never come back. Well, I was back in less than a year.
