This is the place to be, if you're in lanquin and visiting semuc champey. Great private double rooms and overall cleanliness. Extremely beautiful location and very social and fun vibe. Their semuc champey tour was amazing

Incredible views. The pool is great and has a built in pool. Food and drinks were decent from what I can remember. You can arrange activities from the hostel. Filled with travellers so it’s great for meeting new people.

This must be the most amazing hostel in Central America. Whilst it is a long way to get there it is totally worth it. You feel like in the middle of the jungle. My room 8 was very spacious and had an outdoor balcony with incredible views. There is a large pool with a swim up bar, plenty areas to chill out and it was easy to meet other travellers. I can not think about more friendly and helpful staff. I had to make a transaction that could only done on a desktop computer and Alex from Front Desk offered me his personal laptop. It can not get much better.

Great stay for the price! The rooms are standard budget hostel rooms but the common areas and views are what your paying for. The pool was awesome, the views gorgeous, and the vibe when we were there was not too crazy party, but definitely busy with late night drinks and cards. The showers are hot (maybe too hot) and bathrooms kept pretty clean. The food is all fantastic.

Staff were amazing, pool area was incredible and so clean, bedrooms were spotless and the views from every angle at every point in the lodge are amazing! The tours offered are such good value and are incredible, such fun days out! Abby, gordo, hannah and la bomba you are the best !!!

It is pretty hard (long drive) to get to the place but it is totally worth trying it. Staff is really fun, ambiance is great. The scenery is breathtaking. You will be surrounded by mountains and you will love it. Lots of fun and good time. Totally recommend it!
They offer transportation to Semuc Champey and other adventures. Honestly, if/when I will go back to Guatemala, I would choose this place again.

My fiancé and I stayed at Zephyr Lodge two nights. What an amazing hostel with some seriously spectacular views. We were greeted by the staff with a welcome beer and they explained to us some excursions, the menu, WiFi, and everything we needed to know.

The room we had (private room 8) was clean, cozy, and had an amazing view of the jungle and the river. The food at the restaurant was great, and they had a diverse menu, which is especially amazing considering the logistics of doing so. Prices were fair and they had a wide range of cocktails and beers.

In addition, they had vegan and vegetarian options, which my fiancé greatly appreciated.
The experience was fantastic, we had no problem meeting people and making new friends with guests and the staff. And we can’t wait to return. 10/10

This place was a very beautiful stay with great views. Fairly priced , this place offers a hostel and private room options. Has an amazing common area to lounge with wifi access to work. Has a pool table and card games to play. This also has a heated pool and Jacuzzi. They have a restaurant on site and serves food and drinks. There are water caves, Semuc Champey and water tubing tours at the front desk. They have shuttles to the town. The drive to Lanquin is quite beautiful with mountains and valleys. This place has a nice positive vibe, friendly staff and tour guides. 10/10 recommend staying here and taking the tours with them. My friend and I had a pleasant stay and met some friendly people. The food was okay. Drinks were great.

Really nice place to stay in Lanquin. It is definitely a hotel for the younger age, but we were very comfortable although we are in the 50’s. Staff very good, food good, very laid back atmosphere. During the night is party 🎊 . We made a tour with them and it was great fun. We can very much recommend this place.

After backpacking our way Belize through Guatemala, Zephyr Lodge was hands down our favourite hostel. The staff is welcoming and most speak English which is super helpful for communicating. The food from the kitchen was great, and they were accommodating to our special food requests. We even forgot some clothes at Zephyr and after emailing them they went above and beyond, sending our forgotten items to Antigua with their bus driver to bring to us. The hostel itself was clean, we didn’t experience any bugs in our room at all. I highly recommend staying at zephyr - it’s definitely worth a few nights to explore Semuc Champey and at least one day (i wish we had more) to enjoy the hostels infinity pool and super comfy day beds. It was a easy stop for us while travelling from Flores to Antigua.

Amazing view from the top of the mountain. Very friendly english speaking staff. The restaurant is really good and inexpensive. We took a tour to the pools that was on time with a good guide. Do not try to drive up to the lodge if you are not driving a 4x4...
Bungalows are well designed and gives privacy. Great pool. Real hot water in the bathroom!

On these amazing trip these was part of the amazing, eminent and beautiful views. great service, clean and worth every penny.
they have a pool but why use the pool when the river is right there down the hill.
the moment i arrived i went and explore the area. Once i found out that the river was just a walk down the hill i got back to my luggage, changed and went for a swim in a fresh, clean river. I even washed my dirty cloths there despite the fear of a snake swimming up to me and biting me. Food, drinks and ambience added more beauty to the experience.

We had a blast staying here for 3 nights. It’s worth the long, bumpy ride out here just to enjoy the views from the infinity pool and jacuzzi. Their tours are tons of fun as well. Menu was limited as they’re remodeling the kitchen but food was good, especially the group BBQ on Saturday night. Our only regret is not being able to stick around for the Sunday pool party. We’ve been to a ton of “hostels” and this place is a cut above the rest!

Pool design is amazing. Quality of food is quite nice. They have a very clean kitchen, with rules for the staff. We loved the bracelets as keys!! Nice feature. You can swim and do everything with your wristband key.

The Zephyr lodge was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Filled with great people both staying and working. Levin and Bryan were a blast to hang out with and the service was fun and fast. The beds were comfortable and there is nothing like waking up in the middle of the jungle to an infinity pool to go float in. Highly recommend this hostel if going to Lanquin.

Nice hostel with amazing views. Good cocktails and nice party vibe. Rooms were clean and quiet.
Hostel is in beautiful location but a bit of a walk from town. No kitchen so all food is bought in there restaurant which is yummy but can add up!

What a hostel!! Was great place! Not worry there is no such thing as the zephyr bug. I came here with 8 friends and none of us got sick! The sunsets at the pool are amazing and it really feels like a resort. If you can upgrade to a semi private as the views are so great

Had a great time at the lodge. The staff was amazing and I highly recommend you to stay there if you are on the fence. Make sure you pre book as it is the most popular place to stay in lanquin and fills up fast. Danny the hotel manager was the best. The owner Tom was very accommodating and well. Loved my stay there and enjoyed all the activities they plan does you (caves, waterfalls, tubing etc). Would def book again!
