One of the most relaxing places for enjoying all that the rainforest and Guatemala has to offer.

El Sotz is a short drive from Flores Petèn and the famous Mayan Ruins and National Park of Tikal.

El Sotz contains a variety of lodging a bungalow, individual suites with air conditioning and private restrooms, to individual beds and a honeymoon suite. Lodging is diverse for all tastes and budgets.

The grounds are riddled with walking paths that take you on walks throughout the lush rainforest that covers the hillsides. The Camp is lake front and provides stunning views of Lake Petèn Itzá and the sunsets that hide behind it daily.

At night, the Milky Way spills over the night sky and makes itself observable from all lodging areas on the grounds.

Lastly, Flor & Luis are the most generous of hosts. They always go above and beyond to meet every and any need. Their cooking leaves you licking your fingers and their company compels you to return again.

Nature , cozy and relaxed

Un lugar tranquilo y que está rodeado de mucha naturaleza en el Remate, Peten. Hay habitaciones y descansaderos con vista al lago, no pueden perderse las espectaculares vistas del atardecer.
El lugar es muy tranquilo y se escuchan muchos animales en su hábitat a pesar de que esta enfrente d la carretera y por eso mismo, la ubicación del hotel es accesible y tienen un amplio parqueo para dejar los carros. Los dueños son personas muy amables y serviciales, siempre están en la disposición de querer apoyar y orientar para que la estado sea placentera.
En cuanto a la comida, ellos tienen menú del día en el desayuno y cena.

Lugar acogedor, servicio amable y educado. A veces no hay comida pero enfrente hay mucho para elegir. Desayuno nos dieron para llevar pues ibamos a Tikal a las 5.
