Riviera Royal Hotel

Really great hotel with many facilities. It feels very safe, it is clean, and the staff are excellent. Plenty of choices of restaurants, great food, entertainment and a very cool rooftop bar. They even gave us a sweet room upgrade when we checked in! This will be my go-to hotel for Conakry on future trips.

Great hotel. Has a beautiful restaurant on the 7 floor with a very nice view. The other restaurant just beside the swimming pool is great.

The facility is awesome but some of the staff are not supposed to be at the reception because of their attitude,need to be changed. They do not offer good service. Otherwise it is one of the best hotels in Conakry. You should try the rooftop restaurant.

I must say the shortcomings of this hotel were made up by the helpfulness of the staff. The suites in the main building are absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is delicious, restaurant is good too. I would come back again.

Excellent rooms and good house keeping. Multi cuisine restaurants are great. For an Indian like me, great chefs like Roy(Injeera), Mondal (Injeera and Seize) and Saiful (breakfast) do justice to our taste buds.
Very good property with ample space for walks, a good Gym and Swimming pool make add to the living experience here. I strongly recommend it to any new visitor to Conakry.

I stay there everytime i’m in Conakry. Last time, I stayed in a suite in the newly inaugurated wing of the building. Rooms are spacious, very well decorated, super clean, sound proof (there is a railtrack next to the hotel, but you can’t hear trains anymore in the new rooms versus rooms in old wing).
Staff is amazingly professional, very kind and they will do everything they can to help you when you need. I’m a frequent worldwide traveler, and they are definitely my favorite.
You feel like you enter a bubble, cut from the outside world when you enter the hotel premises.
Breakfast is great too, they offer a diversified cold and hot buffet with lots of local fruits, fresh squeezed juice at will and delicious Guinean/Lebanese inspired pastries.
The new wing has a nice, classy and chic rooftop bar with a scenic view of Conakry bay and town.
There’s also a bar/restaurant next to the pool where you can enjoy drinks and high quality Guinean/Lebanese dishes at affordable price.
They have a shuttle service that will pick you up at the airport (and drop you when leaving).
The gym is nice and clean with Life Fitness bodybuilding machine.
The only con is the wi-fi. Connection drops frequently, even in the room, and you have to move around the place until you find a good spot. But there’s no doubt this will soon be fixed.
I will definitely book Riviera Royal for my next trip, without a doubt!
