We stayed 3 nights in the unbelievable basic but charming and luxurious hideout in the Mole National Park.

It was a unforgettable break out into the wildness and gorgeous nature with Elephants, monkeys and many colorful birds during the organized safaris or just walking through the resort :)

The guest rooms are African style tents including a big terrace with breathtaking views looking over the park and two watering holes. The back part of the tents include a huge bathroom and showers. Everything is designed and decorated simplistic but very stylish, thoughtful and luxurious.

The bar and restaurant overlook a infinity pool and the fantastic views of the watering hole down in the park. The pool is perfect for swimming and relaxing in the sun with a delicious cocktail. The food was always perfect and many options available including fresh fruits and local products.

The time at Zaina lodge was a blast and we will definitely come back for more pleasant and relaxing time :)

Disclaimer: I only visited , did not sleep over but in the short time I was there I got closer to an elephant than ever before. magical. I applaud all and every effort to increase and improve the options for travelers in Ghana. I admire the work and dedication that made the dream of having a luxury lodge in this country come true.

Great location, great rooms. Amazing view and outstanding guides that are very knowledgeable about wildlife and ID nearly every thing.

But be prepared the dishes are more Ghanaian style and some westerners my not agree with the food. The breakfast was the best meal, the others where's so but serving hot soup when it 85 degreeand 80% is not a good call. The staff was worried I was not eating all the food. But it was hot with the dinning area needing fans, which will also help keep the insects away.

We where also told to stick with out bottle water for drinking and brushing teeth. I used the tap water and had some minor GI track issues.

While I would stay here again. The prices are higher the. I would like. But it a once in a life time place to stay.

Such a zen!

This place is one of the best hotels in Ghana, in terms of customer service. It is a luxury lodge, so do not compare to 5-star resorts, but it provides an extraordinary experience to its guests.

Food was good enough, despite being too salty. I recommend the chef to reconsider the amount of salt they use. Other than that the hotel normally provides buffet, unless it's low season or there are not enough guests (they serve set menu otherwise). Bar has enough options, considering that the hotel is in the middle of the natural reserve.

The location is amazing. You can watch many animals within the hotel premises; but if you would like to see more species and closer, than you should go for a safari tour(s) which were very impressive in our case.

Rooms were good, nice touch for the shampoo and body lotion bottles.

I strongly recommend everyone who visits Ghana to experience Zaina Lodge.

Wow, what an experience! Afia Tours arranged a visit to Zaina Lodge as part of our tour, and we are so glad we went. The comfort of the lodge and food was excellent, and the the game drives were a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend this unique place.

The stay at Zaina lodge was worth spending time and money. Fantastic view, friendly staff, delicious food. The room in an ecological friendly tent was marvellous.
You realize yourself as part of nature.
Recommend to everyone. A package of two days is advisable to book.

Absolutely spectacular! Flew from Accra to Tamale, paid for shuttle from airport, picked up by Mubarak who was a wonderful driver and filled us in on many of the villages we were passing through in northern Ghana. we arrived at the facility and were greeted warmly ,received cool towels and a wonderful buffet lunch. The setting is spectacular, the thatch roofed main Lodge overlooks the infinity pool where you can hangout and watch the animals approach the watering hole a few hundred feet below. Our room was very luxurious, great ac and perfectly sealed so that we did not get mosquitoes inside. Our guided Safari tours were excellent the staff so friendly and attentive.this is truly a once in a lifetime experience

Where do I begin? We had a very relaxing stay at Zaina Lodge. From the service, to the food, the drinks, to the overall just friendly and cheerful staff we would give 10/10 if we could. The resort facilities are beautiful and the view and sounds of wildlife in Mole park are something we have never experienced before. We did the Zaina Experience which included a safari each day and all of our meals. The safari staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant. They went out of their way and made sure we saw elephants, kobs, water hogs, monkeys, antelopes, and a number of birds. The chef was outstanding, with options of local dishes or more continental if you prefer. The service was amazing, which is hard to come across in Ghana. If you are on the fence about booking don’t be, this place is worth it!

Loved the experience at Zaina. From the drive into the Lodge to the Buffet. It's all top tier.
The Tents are spacious enough that you can easily setup a portable crib for your baby. That's what we did for ours 🥰.

Fabulous! I had a great time staying at Zaina. Saw a really good selection of wildlife and birds, with elephants in particular coming right into the camp to drink from the water feature. Safaris were well-led by Emmanuel and Osman, who were really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I am vegetarian and the chef went out of his way to check what I wanted to eat and made really tasty (and very filling) meals. The tented cabins are very comfortable and have great views over the watering holes. It was lovely just to sit on the balcony with a drink and watch. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall a wonderful experience.

A getaway from all the chaos in Accra. Had the best weekend here. It kept raining and had to cancel other planned activities but it was still an amazing stay. Plan your trip when it’s the dry season. The service was excellent, from the host, chef, waiters, etc. Was literally treated like a queen, even had an escort for when I needed to go in and out of my room. 10/10 will recommend.

One of the best experiences you can have in West Africa. I recommend visiting in the dry season. The lodge has an amazing sunset view, the proximity to wildlife is unprecedented, and the rangers on the safari ride are very knowledgeable. The staff are very friendly and very professional. Though expensive, it's worth the experience!

Excellent service, great ambiance certainly an ideal getaway for anyone looking for andventure trip. Zaina provides a remarkable safari experience for guest upon request. Infinity pool available to cool off from the savannah heat. Enjoy a taste of the north from a variety of delicacies from the restaurant.

Stayed at Mole Motel due to the costs of rooms at Zaina, but my partner and I spent the afternoon one day. We bought the lunch & pool special, which was quite expensive ($75 each)... However it was worth it! Food absolutely top notch, service best I've ever had in Ghana, pool very clean, view absolutely amazing, elephants drinking at the watering hole and many antelope. If you have the money I definitely recommend

Love love love -- did I say love? LOVE this place. I want to go back just for the black soap and stone shower! Who would have thought sleeping in a Safari tent with one stone side could be so luxurious! Upon arrive a warm scented wet face towel just brings a rush of delight to every part of you it touches. Makes it worth the journey. Even the elephants give this place a five star.
