Mole Motel

The place is the best place the see nature. If you want peace and serenity, come visit Mole in the Savannah region of Ghana and surely, you would thank me later.

Amazing Hotel with a nice staff inside the National Park. We were able to see so many different animals (Elephants, springbocks, monkeys, etc.) right in front of the hotel and we would definitly come back again.

This is a wonderful spot to see the natural beauty of Ghana and West Africa. We were greeted by the nicest people, not so friendly baboons, countless wildlife encounters. The view from the pool is wonderful. You can see out over the land below that includes a lake and many many different species. At one point the elephants came right up to the pool area as well. Will be back someday.

This is when Tradition meets Luxury. An experience truly deserving of all the 5 star. A detail tour guide with a charming person. And the food is one of the best you could ever have. Clean water and your security assured. This was a pleasant stay. You really should consider this place

The government could spend a little money to spruce it up and make it a great tourist destination. In spite of the inadequate facility the members of staff did good job

We spent 3 nights in a 3 persons bedroom with AC. The location of Mole Motel is right next to the park’s headquarters from where all tours leave. From the swimming pool and terrace you can enjoy affordable tasty foods and a beautiful view. Definitely coming back.

I had a great time here. We met people from all over the world. We went on safari but didn't need to cos the elephants came right to us!

Beautiful view of the valley below of the game reserve. My only regret was that I didnt carry my binoculars. Have one at all times whist in Mole. Might come in handy. Choose the chalets. Have a clear view of the valley below and also pretty close the the restaurant and the pool. 😂

Idilic location right next to the park HQ. We booked a chalet with A/C. The room was spatious and noise-free. This is definitely the place to book in Mole, unless you want to spend a lot of money for Zaina Lodge.

Really nice, scenic place to stay in Mole National Park. I stayed here 2 times from 2018- 2019 in the dormitory, a private room and the camp ground.

Beautiful overlook where you can watch elephants and other animals drink and bathe in a watering hole. Small swimming pool and nice restaurant with friendly atmosphere. Its a great place to meet other travelers. Accommodations are simple and clean (I don't remember the showers having hot water).

For camping, you have to arrange this through the park service. They have tents for rent. Probably best to leave food at the Mole Motel or at the park service building so that you aren't bothered by baboons. Beautiful camp ground!

The Motel is expensive but it’s worth of it. Nice place, confortable enough to enjoy nature and peace. Then… rooms, service, food, cleanliness etc. as usual Ghanaian standard, what do you expect?

Excellent hotel, rooms are very spacious with all the necessary amenities on hand. Lock your door or you might have a hungry visitor in the form of a baboon! The rooms are a short walk (2 mins) from the pool and bar which is perfectly situated over looking the Savannah! My photos do not do the view justice. Its amazing!!!

Really enjoyed my stay here. We decided to do the safari in the vehicle because we realized we came during the dry season and wanted to cover more ground. It was amazing!!! Our guide was so busy talking that he missed the elephants feeding. Thankfully I had my eyes peeled for them and did not miss them! They were amazing and I was so grateful to see them in their natural habitat.

Really wonderful accommodation for the price, the other option (Zina) is incredibly expensive. This hotel has a lovely pool, friendly and helpful staff, good food and wonderful tour guides! You can often see the elephants from the pool and porch.

Mole motel is a beautiful place to stay while exploring Mole national park. The food is great and so are the people. The Nature is astounding you get to see so much. It also has a great swimming pool. I recommend it to every one.

The Mole Motel has a breathtaking view over de National Park. You can relax in the swimming pool or on the terrace and watch wildlife from there! The rooms are spacious and offer all the things you need. The staff is very nice and the food is good. This is the ideal spot to start a foot and car safari to spot the elephants. For the warthogs, the baboons or the birds you need not go on safari, they will come to your doorstep!

I just went to mole last week and it was a wonderful and amazing experience. The food was delicious and very appetizing. The rooms were neat and clean and also very spacious. The service there was great. The safari was the best part.

Beautiful rooms. Breathtaking view from the motel. Wonderful staff. But BEWARE of Ahmed and Joffrey who offer third party services . We made arrangements with them to be driven to Cape Coast. Upon our arrival, he changed the terms of our agreement and made a big scene outside the hotel demanding extra money and threatening to get the police. Ended up paying way more than agreed just to get it over with. Do not trust them.

The smaller size of this national park gives it an edge when compared to NPs in Kenya. The reason being smaller number of visitors. The nature doesn't seem so exploited.
Downside is the accommodation in the Mole hostel. The staff is nice... Just everything, eg. ordering food takes ages. It is not an exception to wait 90 min for lunch. The rangers are really helpful. Expect to see many elephants. Maybe buffallos. Other large species seem to be rare in the area.
