I had the most amazing experience with Teni at the OSU Branch. She was professional, gave me exactly what I wanted, a versatile style and more. She’s very meticulous with her parting and is a fast braider. I’ve received many compliments from family and friends back home in the US from pictures and locals as well. Thank you so much Teni and the OSU team!

Got wash/conditioner and crochet faux locs. AJ did my entire set and did an excellent job. She was efficient and gentle with my hair at the same. She was attentive to what I wanted. I left very satisfied.

Great service, and the salon has a lovely aesthetic. I had jumbo knotless braids done and was done super quick. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back.

I have used this salon 3 times in the past 3 years and only had one good experience which was 2022. 2023 January was a mess, the receptionist at the madina branch is rude and knows nothing about customer service. They gave me a guy who messed up my hair, but he was polite. They refused to pair him up with anyone, and all the rest of the stylist kept doing was speaking twi and gossiping about him, I was so disgusted. I took off the hair once I got home! This year around, I decided to use the osu branch, the receptionist over there is very professional and polite. My issue was, the stylist I specifically booked with 48 hours prior never made it to the salon, I was there from the appointment time till about 4:30pm. The receptionist nice was enough to offer me another stylist but after my last experience I just declined, she did apologize profusely. But what I Couldn’t get over, was how you book an appointment with a specific stylist, she even ask to get the hair ready and then never shows up.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Don’t waste your time coming here. My sister visited this place and they told her they will attend to her after they are done with their client. However when they finished with their client they had another client so they didn’t attend to her. After that ANOTHER client arrived so they didn’t attend to her again. After waiting FIVE hours they said she can no longer do her hair because she wants small braids they will be there all night. They didn’t seem apologetic at all and they were very inconsiderate after she spent hours in that shop. Me and my sister even had plans to go out tonight but we can no longer go because of this. As we are tourists and coming to Ghana for a holiday we are very disappointed with this POOR customer service and I would not recommend this place at all!

Worst customer service experience!!! And disappointing part is no apology rendered. I am visiting Ghana and after seeing all the buzz around this salon by celebrities, I decided to get my braids done there. I scheduled an appointment yesterday for regular size goddess braids + washing of hair for 8:30am today which was a total of 700 cedis. I got to the shop today and met 2 workers who mentioned the secretary isn’t in yet so they didn’t know what type of hair I was getting done. I showed them the email confirmation that I received when I booked which had all the details. I proceeded to sit for the hair wash and after about 5 mins, I realized the lady was using wrong products in my hair after I had specifically requested to use Mizani products at a cost of 120 cedis. While hair was getting dried, another lady came and mentioned they didn’t have the hair that was needed to braid the hair I wanted and asked if I wanted to do something else. I asked why they would accept an appointment when they know clearly they don’t have the braids required and why they didn’t communicate to me prior to the appointment that they didn’t have the hair so I could decide whether to spend money coming to the shop or not. More workers were around at this point and just say unconcerned and just staring at me. I eventually had to leave and walk a couple of blocks in search of a new salon to get my hair done. Extremely disappointed by this service and owner of the facility has a lot of work to do.

I had arranged an appointment for 20th March 2023 at 11am for both my daughter and I. We got to SilverHair to be informed that we have to wait for 3 hours due to non-availability of the hair for braids. The initial welcome was poor. There was no eye contact from the lady who we met when we arrived. She was plucking her facial hair in front of the mirror and barely gave us a second look. A young lady who I assumed to be one of staff came from outside to apologise but could barely understand the extent of her apology. To add insult to injury another staff member asked us to go to the Madina branch. The decorum and unfriendliness of the staff and their limited customer services skills was appalling. I follow SiverHair on Instagram and had been so impressed of what is portrayed on IG and was bent on patronising Silverhair. However, the limited customer service skills and the general attitude of the 4 staff present with one of them plucking her facial hair with scissors is very distasteful. My daughter and I left and was able to utilise the services of another braiding centre.
