Fantas Folly

I absolutely recommend Fanta's Folly for folks who want to explore Ghana's western region. Just an hour from Takoradi, this place offers great value for money with its gorgeous beach, rustic casitas, and excellent customer service. Special shout-out to Charity and Naomi who catered to all of my food requests. Will definitely come back !

A very clean and calm place for a perfect weekend getaway

Fantas Folly is our favourite place to spend a relaxing time at. Philip and Fanta are wonderful hosts, and always spend time to make you feel welcome. The food is great and good value for money. The rooms are comfortable and well thought out. The location is a piece of Paradise on Earth. We have a lot of wonderful memories of our time spent at Fantas. Highly recommended.

Great clean accommodation, affordable rates, very peaceful and quiet. Food was simply amazing and was prepared comparatively quick. Staff are friendly. The beach is clean and there's a nice walk to the either sides. As for accessibility, a saloon car will have no issue if there's no heavy rain. Philip and Fanta are very courteous and approachable. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a city break, drive from Accra is some 5 hours or you can catch a flight in.

An fantastic place with an serene atmosphere located right on the Butre beach. It’s the perfect place to calm down and just enjoy yourself. The resort is built with a great sense of design and atmosphere by a nice couple taking very good care of you. I really loved this place.
The only bad thing was the internet connection that was weak, but if your not depending on internet - this is a perfect place to be.

The peace and serenity is totally unbelievable and if you have Vodafone you will be on a digital detox. The rooms are well done, you have an amazing stretch of beach front almost to yourself depending on the number of lodgers at the time of visit. The drive there however is not that nice. On the plus side you can do a 45 minute hike to busua Beach where it's the exact opposite full of other tourists and accommodations. So the perfect for having both worlds

Nestled among tropical vegetation, with the sound of the Atlantic Ocean rolling into shore, you feel far away from the hustle and bustle yet it is less than an hour’s drive from the city of Takoradi.
Caution: Road is too rough. Consider Pick-up vans.

Beautiful sea beach with photogenic views. Clean area with water. The beauty of this place is the small rocky mountain ⛰.. just walk 3-4 minutes and click pictures and videos there. Adding some of the pictures.water is green, grey and yellow lol..mix colour.

Make sure you order your food in advance as they will take 2 hours if they are saying 5 minutes. I had omelette and bread and waited for 1 one hour.

We stayed for a total of five days, I believe, at Fantas Folly during August 2016. Not only we had a really nice time, right there at the beach. We really felt welcome at Fanta's and Philippe's lovely place, and their staff! The rooms are very nice and every single meal was delicious!

Love this place. Fanta and Phillippe have always been great. Food is superb and we have always had the most relaxing time. Especially good is when the turtles are laying eggs as they have a turtle nursery / hatchery on site... highly recommended

Amazing quiet and serene hide out with very comfortable rooms. With the rooms overlooking the oceans. A good place to spend weekends and holidays with friends and lovers. Also great for hiding away and getting some work done if you have deadlines etc. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

One of the best place to eat in Estearn Region. The owner couple French-Nigerian is lovely and know how to host you. Room are simple but made with taste. The sea spot is windy so pass your turn if you want a quiet sea. Waves are impressive so it is a strong show of how powerful ocean stream can be. I definitely recommand to have a sight. Plus you can have a walk up to Busua by the beach. Frenches will also appreciate the "petanque" field !

A peaceful haven surrounded by an overloaded package of nature: trees, birds, sky: sun, moon and stars and of course the ocean... Amazing!!!

Its place were you can really enjoy the beach its so clean no rocks around , staff are very friendly, room doesnt cost much they are well constructed by concrete and wood which make them unique.

Warm reception by Philip and his team. Always ready to listen to and serve the guests as well. For their meals..just love it.

Perfect beach hide-away. Don't expect aircon but you won't miss it when you take in the beautiful beach , and warm hospitality offered by Fanta and Philippe
