Bought a racket for Badminton and restringing, nice owner and history of the shop were interesting. Does give you his expert knowledge.

I have been there to buy cricket set for my son. Decent junior collection at this place.

There's decent 'free' parking available in front of the shop.

However shop is short on staff as it's a busy place and just one staff isn't enough at times.

All in all, recommend place

Impressive range of quality equipment, topped off by knowledgeable courteous service. Slightly over internet prices but very fair when you consider the overall package, service and experience. Highly recommend!

Came in for a new pair of running shoes, they had an excellent range to choose from. Staff had very good knowledge and asked all the right questions and listened to what I was looking for to help me pick out the perfect pair. They were very reasonably priced too.

Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable service. Went here for advice on a pair of running shoes and when I arrived I realised it was 5 minutes before closing time. It didn't matter, the owner was happy to help and looked at the wear on my current shoes to advise on the best new pair to suit my gait. Give the online shops and Sports Direct a miss and come here, there are few shops like this left and the service they provide is a million times better.

I emailed the store (during lockdown) to ask about buying some running shoes. After some quick and insightful email correspondence to assess my needs Tom arranged to bring half a dozen options in a couple of sizes and a roll of carpet to my house. First he assessed my gait as I walked up and down the carpet on my front path and then talked me through the characteristics of the different brands. He was very knowledgeable and I didn't feel any pressure to buy. Great service!

Walked in on a chance as my other half noticed they sold trainers. I explained I needed over pronation trainers, was told to take a seat and the lovely gentleman brought out five pairs of trainers to try on. Each was explained on the benefits etc. Haven't had customer service this great in a long time. Thoroughly recommend this shop for the expertise in knowledge and friendly selling. There was no pressure and genuinely feel there wouldn't be any upset if I hadn't bought. I did, and very happy with my purchase.

I have known of the existence of this shop for about 30 years but have never visited. I needed running shoes and thought I'd give the "Sports Directs" of the world a miss and try these guys. So pleased that I did. Came out with new shoes in half the time and having learned a lot about what I had bought. The owner, (Tom, I think) certainly knew his stuff and the shop is a treasure trove of sport stuff. Will definitely be returning.

Popped in today - fantastic, professional and personal service from Tim and the other two customers in the shop at the same time were treated with similar, simultaneously. Go local, go Cheam Sports - so glad this sort of place still exists. Thank you Tom.

Highly recommend this sports shop. Fantastic communication and response to emails and Tom also managed to locate a 4E width trainer for my sister in law.

Very helpful. Went in to buy some cricket items for my son who is just starting to play hardball. Although we only went in to buy the gloves he kindly measured my son to make sure he was playing with the correct size bat and also measured for the correct helmet,

Cheam Sports shop is a great experience. There is so much equipment in a small shop. The owner Tom is very knowledgeable about many different disciplines. Fantastic choice of trainers too.

Put my old tennis racquet in for a restring and bought a new one. The owner spent a lot of time explaining the pros and cons of different racquets. Great service and he knows his stuff

A proper sports shop run by some that actually knows about what is important. Very very few of these places left, which is a real shame.
A very friendly and relaxed shop, well stocked and super helpful.
