Shinner and Sudtone

We booked the function room upstairs yesterday to host a party with families.

The food was excellent and we felt like we could really relax in the space with all the kids.

The team were very helpful with any questions and setting up the space, in particular Maria was a superstar.

Shinner and Sudtone is a firm favourite amongst our circle. The Sunday roses and burgers in particular are delicious and there’s plenty of board games to keep both kids and adults entertained.

Nice relaxed vibes, beautiful decor, unpretentious staff.

This place is amazing! A rare find! Great atmosphere, staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help you. We've eaten here a few times too and recently tried the roast - so so good!! Thanks guys so much for catering burgers for our little nephews too last week even though you were short staffed!! We always love coming on a date, with family or friends. Definitely our favourite 👌

The only good place to drink in Sutton. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Reminiscent of the pub on “cheers”. Burgers are second to none and somehow better than most restaurants. Very good selection of drinks and bar team are on first name terms with their customers always greeting you with a smile. Categorically the best pub in the area. A regular visit.

We had our Street Pastor team Christmas night out here on Monday. Great food, atmosphere and staff couldn’t do more to help us and make it a great experience 😊 highly recommend this lovely pub!

Was in on Sunday for a Sunday Roast and the roasts were fantastic. Service was great with friendly staff and the atmosphere was nicely family-friendly and chill. Only "problem" was we were so relaxed we stayed for twice as long as planned!

Will happily be going back.

Was just on a quick visit to Sutton and spent the Tuesday evening here. Ordered food which was great well cooked and tasty, it also helped that there was a fantastic offer on Burgers you got two for the price of one. Service on both food and drinks was very quick and all the staff were great. We stayed and took part in the Quiz, which was well organised and great fun. Great Pub. Great Food and Entertainment, a fantastic find and well worth the visit

We hired the (free) function space upstairs for my partner’s 50th and it was great! Nice food and friendly service! Highly recommend 🙌👏👏

This place is remarkable!! Went here for a birthday dinner with the family and the food was out of this world! It was high end restaurant quality stuff - much more than you'd expect in a pub.

The staff are friendly and attentive and the prices aren't too bad. The decor is just absolutely incredible with the tiles and walls all original from the original Sainsburys. It's like being in a time warp with the amount of extras they've added in - truly incredible.

Had an absolutely exquisite time at this establishment. Poppy and Tom both poured me a madri which was the most perfect pint I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Great vibe can’t wait to go back!

We visited for Shinner and Sudtone for their Sunday roast and it was amazing.

We had the roast beef which was great. Portion size was generous and the beef was cooked to perfection.
Ordered at the bar and the food came out really quickly.
We also got the brownie for dessert and was great.

I'll definitely be going back there again as I can't fault anything!

I booked the upstairs function area for our work Christmas party. Aaron and the team went above and beyond the ensure everything from booking the venue, ordering the food in advance and serving it at a pre-agreed time on the night went smoothly. It's a great venue, with a really friendly helpful team.

Great pub in the heart of Sutton. Take your time to talk to the door man. He is full of fun stories.

There's lots of seats on the ground floor and some up some stairs. There is seating outside too.

So glad I found this place, great food , excellent value with 50% off on a Monday but even without the discount excellent value for money
The food was well presented, hot n fresh .. and the staff were all welcoming and helpful.
I'll be back n bring some colleagues next time

Really liked this pub. For me definitely the best in Sutton. Beautiful design, layout and the atmosphere was very friendly and serve a great variety of beers. Sadly I could only stay for one, but the Jiddler's Tipple was lovely. Not surprised as By the Horns brew some great beers.

A great find In Sutton. About two minutes walk from the Station, it's definitely a venue I'd go back to. Lots of space and some of the funkiest decor in a Pub I have seen. The staff were really welcoming and served us lovely and quickly. Great range of beers and a busy kitchen too.

Went there to watch the six nations rugby on Saturday. Great atmosphere, good beer and decent service. Recommend.

Lovely friendly pub with freshly cooked food. Unusual quwerky decor. Only 4 stars because they don't often have a veggie/vegan option.
Edit: I have now been going to the Shinner for many years since it opened and it is one of my favourite pub to go to. They DO have VEGAN options now and the beers are absolutely amazing. Always have new ones on tap as well as the usual ones. The staff is always super friendly. 5 stars. I love that place ❤ (vegan nut roast pictured was delish)
