Peter Beales Roses

A stunning display of roses this time of year. Beautifully kept Gardens to enjoy; & friendly, helpful staff who are able to assist with any questions we may have about 'what to plant where' etc. The cafe is always busy and averagely priced. Good coffee & cakes. Worth a visit. Parking is free as is enjoying the extensive gardens.

Surprised I hadn't already reviewed here, been a few times, have a great selection of plants and garden ware, but the garden itself is a lovely walk round, and the café is perfect, even accommodating to myself with a gluten and lactose intolerance, which is hard to find. The roses are great quality, ours produces so many flowers every year (had 2+ years), and for Xmas they do an amazing display throughout the whole garden, which was a pleasant stroll round, my partner loved it.

Lots of parking available. Nice looking cafe, although there was a queue when we went, so we didn't use it. Probably as it was lunchtime.

There is a lovely area they have planted gardens, it's absolutely beautiful and gives you some ideas about how to plant types of plant together.

It was really warm today, it would have been nice to see a cold drinks fridge by the tills, we would have bought some! Maybe an idea for next summer?

I visited twice in a row this weekend as they had their Rose festival weekend.
There are so many beautiful flowers in the gardens that they sell. A huge variety of roses. This weekend there was 30% and 50% of roses which we brought 4 as a deal you couldn't miss.
You can enter the shop and gardens for free it's a perfect location to visit with friends.
They have a cafe indoors but you cannot book.
Peter Beales is wheelchair friendly they have their own wheelchairs to use and disabled parking right outside the entrance. Their chairs are better suited to the environment as shingle on some of the outdoor area so harder to push smaller wheelchair wheels. Disabled toilets.

Staff are very friendly. I asked questions about what rose to buy for a family member and staff were very knowledgeable about roses. Very impressive.
Worth a visit! You will want to come back again.

Beautiful gardens! Lots of high quality plants with knowledgeable staff for after care advice. Great food selection and the service was great despite being busy.

Oh my word, what a wonderful place. Not only the nursery and smashing cafe with waitress service but the impressive rose garden is just spectacular. As soon as you walk outside, the perfume from the garden hits you. It's like an assault on the senses. I didn't know which way to turn. After an uplifting amble round the garden I stopped for lunch then had to decide what to buy. So much choice. I defy anyone to go to this wonderful place and come away with nothing.

Lovely place, roses are always gorgeous. I love looking around the gardens. The food is really nice, unique and delicious. Would 100% recommend!

This is a nursery dedicated to roses but sells loads of other plants as well. It has an excellent 2 acre garden full of herbaceous borders and every type of rose you could think of, the garden costs nothing to walk round and is better than some that you have to pay to walk round. They have won 27 Chelsea Gold medals which is some achievement when you think it is brilliant just to win one. It also has a good tearoom/ restaurant. It's a must visit to anyone interested in gardening and even lets under 60's in 😁🌹

Beautiful colourful well kept gardens with an abundance of gorgeous roses, fantastic new restaurant serving good portions of very tasty reasonably priced food. Great outdoor seating area, plus a woodland fairy walk and a great gift shop too. Staff are very helpful and polite, will definitely be returning soon😊😊😊😊

Brilliant display of Christmas lights in a wonderful setting of the Rose Garden. Even better than last year....and free to wonder around which we did at about 4pm. My grandaughter loved it and the staff were so friendly too. Thankyou Peter Beales Roses.

Lovely day out had a talk guided tour with Chris and coffee and cake all in very knowledgeable about roses and a really enjoyable day with 10% discount thrown in xxxx

This is a world away from garden centres as known. It is a work of art A labour of love. Such beautiful plants ...roses spectacular choice. Obelisks and Pergolas . Bridges .fish..and plants galore. And a very nice restaurant.

A lovely place to visit. With an extensive garden of roses. Sizeable parking and a nice cafe. Well worth a visit if your travelling the A11

Nice cafe & grounds to wander around. Sure it's better when the sun's shining & the flowers are in full bloom. Was a bit wet & windy on our visit. Well stocked shop also.

Always a great visit , flowers still looking beautiful. Rosearium is lovely now too with delicious food .

Ordered a climbing rose online. Delivery faster than indicated and very healthy looking plant that arrived. Very happy with purchase and would 100% recommend.

Awesome Rose Garden in June and best place to select my favorite roses like Rose Eden and Nostalgia. I really think here is a must-go place for rose lovers.
