Lidl Burton on Trent

As usual this is one of my favourite supermarkets. Quality stuff and cheaper. Visited Burton on Trent to see my good friend and we decided to grab some snacks and drinks here. I love their bakery too.

Always great quality produce at a reasonable price. Best part is thier daily bakery items , you can smell the fresh bread as you walk in.

Nice quick and easy shop todsy, and we was lucky as the manager told us to put our things on another till as theuvwas going to open that till. Thank you

Well it's a Lidl as any other.I occasionally buy tools as well there,but last time it was a tool sharpening station aside from the other things. 😊Yeah,the new (bigger)shop is better.
My opinion.

Young man on Self Checkout was polite and amazingly helpful when I called in whilst picking up my grandchildren from the station last Wednesday. I think he’s a great asset to you. Amazingly my husband also dropped into the store last Friday and came home and said what wonderful customer care he’d had from a young man whilst trying to use the self payout for weighing pistachios . Remarkable really. Your man is a good ambassador. He made a good impression on both of us.

Everywhere lovely & clean. Quite busy but still easy to navigate store. I used the self service checkout for the first time with help from assistant. Tried to leave with plastic wheeled basket to take goods to my vehicle & was stopped by a very nice man who explained it was not allowed. I told him I was new to this so did not know & he let me use it & return it to him. His actions could have lost me as a new customer but because he handled it very well, & the service at self service, I will certainly be returning there.

Best shop to do grocery shopping: unbeatable prices without compromising quality. It gets very busy at times but staff at the tills are working hard to operate quickly and are always polite. The only thing I am not a fan of is lack of basic manners among the customers but that's down to the individual shoppers rather than the shop itself.

Excellent customer service. I'd been looking for a long reach hedge trimmer that Lidl sell but hadn't been able to get one. I called in today to take another look but there was nothing. On the way out I stopped at the self service area and asked the member of staff (a young lady called Rachel) if she knew if there was any in stock. Right away she was on it and called one of her colleagues to collect the item which she knew they had in stock. Her colleague arrived with it a few minutes later and she then assisted me through the self service checkout and also gave me some good advice regarding the Lidl app and card. Her store and stock knowledge was top notch. Thanks to Rachel and also her colleague who collected the item from stock.

Great prices. Lovely pleasant staff. Very clean. Local. Good carpark.
Not as much choice , some items were not on shelf where advertised. Waited ages to be served as only one till in operation. But staff standing about. Only for people who only just arrived at tills to be served first.

Good value. Speedy check out service. Nice staff. Vegetarian frozen selection a bit hit and miss, but otherwise perfectly adequate.

Good value and not bad take on your norm you'd be buying from leading named stores

Sometimes they have really interesting stuff for sale on the seasonal sections, bought a wonderful BBQ from them. Also nice to taste dishes and other food from around the world.

But my favourite section is a the freshly made pastry and breads 😍😍

Great for most food and drink, good weekly shop, great variety

Clean and tidy store with some good weekend offers. The face cream products are excellent value for money & better than the expensive named brands. The District Manager, & Manager were very friendly when I asked them where a product was although they were busy inspecting products. Leading by example!

A lot of food is much cheaper and just as good quality as the major supermarkets. Fresh bread baked on site smells delicious. Fruit and vegetables are good, and cheap but eat it fresh as tends to go off more quickly from Lidl, for some unknown reason. You can't get everything you need, though. I still have to get a few things elsewhere. Wine is very good and cheap here. I've also bought a few electrical items and they are fine. As good as but cheaper than other brands.

Ample free parking, good variety of food and various other middle aisle items, fantastic bakery section. Enjoyable cold coffees and selection of dessert items.

It's a Lidl. They're the same up and down the country, reliably good quality at a low price. They don't have the same sort of range as the more traditional supermarkets, but they have almost everything you need at a better price.

This specific store is fairly conveniently positioned, with a decent sized car park. The staff have all been helpful and friendly, and keep the shelves neat and well stocked.
