A local treasure of a shop. Stores possibly everything you will ever need for DIY without the endless searching as per large DIY chains...The best shop in Amersham...possibly the best shop in the country . Independently owned (one woman) and been trading for best part of 40 years ...from 2 or 3 specific screws to glue to a broomstick handle,they have the lot ...and 7 days a week ! Support this shop !

I purchased various products from Carrols whilst renovating my house - never did I walk out empty handed, they have everything! As well as a great selection of stock, they're very competitively priced and, in my experience, always cheaper than the other local DIY stores. Highly recommended - support your local businesses!

Great shop with an astonishing range of products. I've rarely failed to get what I wanted and they often stock hard to get and alternatives from other high street shops.

Carrols have everything you will ever need. A little rabbit warren of rooms selling everything. Pride themselves in stocking everything DIY, gardening, leisure etc. Worth a visit and a rummage around.

The best little shop in town.

They have everything
I have to back up what Natalie wrote. Whatever I want to buy they always have it. And the staff know what they are talking about. Highly recommended. Whatever you want to buy, drop in here first before you journey to Dyas, Wickes, B&Q or wherever. There have been so many times when I thought they won't have it, but they invariably do!

Brilliant shop. If you want to step back in time where shop keepers were just like they were in "open all hours" then visit Carrols in Amersham. A real life Alladin's Cave with every available quirky product one might want and polite and friendly staff...

The best for a very long time

Really nice people, Carrol herself (obviously) included. The only time they look down is if they can't help you!

Very helpful staff, Paul went above and beyond to sort a bulb out for my lamp. Great variety of things at competitive prices.
