While we have more specialist trade stores eg. Medlocks electrical, ridgeons BM, cityplumb and TC fixings for hardware, the addition of Toolstation is a great general purpose hardware and tool shop. Reserving online and long opening hours especially useful for out of usual hours jobs.

Was a little confused about what tool I would need for some DIY, but David was very helpful and sorted me out with a circle saw - perfect!

Served by Max and David. Quick, efficient, and good staff. Would highly recommend.

Very helpful staff, I went to buy some heavy duty galvanized wire to train our wisteria along the front of the house. I was certain no one would have this in stock assuming it had gone out of fashion in the 1970's. Jade was extremely kind & managed to locate some in the warehouse & with her help I now look forward to a very well behaved wisteria this summer.

Had a great experience at the Saffron Walden Toolstation
I couldn’t think of the name of the tool that I was looking for I attempted to clumsily describe the object, Jade a member of Toolstation staff, was able to help me, she took her time, she went above and beyond, I didn’t feel rushed, she had great patience and appeared to be very knowledgable about the Toolstation products. I will definitely be returning.
