Mocha Cafe & Diner Ltd

This is an absolute gem of a place, I found it whilst exploring Saffron Walden afew days ago and now I'm hooked! I had a breakfast there Saturday and a Sunday roast there Sunday.... the lovely young lady on front of house was amazing, she had a beautiful smile and was so so welcoming, the other young lady made my milkshake to total perfection, service was swift and the meals so fresh and tasty and more importantly served hot, the restaurant was beautifully clean and all menus were clear on both what all meals where and their price so no confusion, in all I'd say after many years myself working in hospitality and the restaurant business myself this establishment scored 10000/10000 for me, whatever your doing guys keep doing it 🥰 xxxxxxxxx

Great little cafe/diner in Saffron walden, went for a weekday lunch and the place was lovely. Staff were friendly, food was cooked to order and arrived swiftly.
Great value for what you get, I had the all day breakfast and was definately full well into the evening.
I heartily recommend a lunch stop here!

My family have been coming here for 20+ years, it never disappoints. Food always quick and hot. Fab milkshakes too. Words are not enough!!!

I went in for breakfast with some friends and the service was impeccable, The food was delicious and I couldn’t recommend it more to everyone.

The Sunday dinner was amazing.

Popped in for a light lunch following a bike ride. Excellent service and great food at reasonable prices. If you don't see what you want on the menu, just ask and if they can, they'll do it for you. My friend just wanted scrambled eggs and bacon on toast. He got enough to feed an army!

1st time I've been here today and the lady who served us was really nice and very understanding when it came to my 2 fussy children.. our food was cooked perfectly.. very tasty and a good amount for the price.. the coffee was so tasty I had two cups. . Will definitely be recommending this cafe..

Amazing little gem, just off the main high street. Food is always amazing and their thickshakes are soooo good. If you want high quality cafe food then go find them, you wont be disappointed 👌🏻

The Mocha is one of Saffron Walden's longest-serving, family-run cafes. It is THE place to go for a proper hangover breakfast. Loads of space, generous portions, large mugs of tea and coffee and the staff run the place with military precision and service. It's a great location too, tucked away down a side-street where you can hide behind the freely-supplied news papers, wolfing down a large English breakfast. It's a no-bells and whistles kinda place. It's not a fancy tea-shop, of which there are many in Saffron Walden, but its hearty and good value.

The food and ambience were great. It is hidden in a quiet street. A lot of families go there. They seem to be quite popular with the locals.

Good food, generous portions and friendly staff. Staff are making a point of adhering to COVID-19 regulations. The toilets were accessible and well looked after.

Fab food. Fab staff. Always eat here. They do a large range of food from sandwiches and baguettes to full english, burgers, plus specials which include cottage pie, roasts ect.... really is all tasty. Highly recommend.

Popular place with the locals. Mocha has been here for decades. I remember going there as a kid. Now I take my kids. Good value for money. Fast, no frills, good service.
