Saffron Walden Costcutter

Never thought I'd review a Costcutter but this place is actually really excellent. Recently refurbished the owner gentleman and his wife have done an amazing job, has delicious home made samosas (and sauce) and is the only place within miles that stocks my favourite ice cream (Haagen Daz strawberry cheesecake).

The guys at the post office inside always provide you 5star-services.
The Costcutter itself also randomly sells some Japanese things as well!

This is a great shop with a huge range of goods with a great friendly service. My only problem is they sell a lot of Polish food which only written in Polish wish it was a law for descriptions to also be printed in English we are after all in England

The store is well stocked and everything is available, I don't have to go to Cambridge to buy spices. Staff are helpful and friendly.

A well-stocked shop with a good range of products. It is especially noted for stocking Far Eastern spices, sauces and favourites. Well worth a visit for products not easily available elsewhere.
