Harris & James Store Southwold

I love coming to Southwold H&j. But I would like them to consider more dairy free options on scones. Cakes. Traybakes. As I can only have a very few items. The staff are amazingly friendly. Always welcoming dogs too. Regard Robin &Tilly the dog.

Best ice cream I’ve EVER had! Super creamy (but not too sickly), great flavour and you get a massive “scoop” (more like 3 normal scoops). Well worth the visit and the money

Incredibly light doughnuts that are sugar-sweet and fluffy in the centre, with a generous pot of caramel sauce for dipping! The two scoop ice cream cone was enormous (and there was an utterly delicious choice of flavours too) Highly recommend a visit!

A trip to Southwold needs two things ice cream and fish n Chips and for Ice Cream this place nails it. Tried 3 different flavours... Mint Chocolate, Cherry and Strawberry. Adult choices (mint and cherry) one scoop was massive and so very tasty while children's scoop was more than enough and had the seal of approval. Amazing and Tasty

All of the ice creams and sorbets I've ever had from here are always delicious and full of flavours and toppings! The staff are super friendly and are always happy to advise on what ice cream flavours you may like and they have a great selection of coffee including Southwold's own blend.🍦☕

Deliciously creamy, authentic gelato. One scoop is plenty as it’s massive! They really don’t cheap out on portion size - highly recommend.

The ice creams in the shop window all look amazing. With names of ice cream you might not see elsewhere.. Yes it's ££ but the portion sizes are great and the cones are awesome. The flavour of the ice cream I chose was just ok, but I'll certainly be going back for more... Of course now that I'm an ice cream connoisseur :)

Firstly the look of this place is so beautiful and pretty and that just makes me want to step inside the shop. They offer so many things here, coffee, gelato, chocolates and we had gelato. You get a massive scoup of ice cream for, £3.50 with a delicious waffle cone. Yum. I got the coffee gelato which was great. Can't fault this place.

Amazing gelato, great portion size, very tasty

Stumbled upon this place exploring in Southwold on a cloudy Monday - finding this place made our day! The ice cream is AMAZING! Especially the salted caramel popcorn - one of the best ice creams I have ever had. It is real authentic gelato. They have got all the social distancing screens up too. Highly recommend! We came to Southwold on Saturday and had your amazing ice cream while meeting up with Family for a beach day. The dream boxes were amazing and the flavours were that good we had more again in Cromer the next day on the way home to Stoke on Trent. Portion size is amazing well worth it.

Such a lovely little ice cream shop! The ice cream is delicious, I haven’t tried all the flavours but the ones I have are amazing!

A delightful selection of chocolate gelato and cakes. There is so much to delight the eyes here. Everything tastes as good as it looks.

I’d return to Southwold purely for the ice cream... never mind it being a beautiful place (meaning the whole area) to visit, this lipsmackingly gorgeous iced delight alone will entice me back there without a doubt. Pictured, is a single(!) scoop of cherry ripple in a waffle cone. The sweetness was offset by what I think were little pieces of sour cherry.
If you can imagine ‘cherry drops’ (the boiled sweets) in ice cream form you wouldn’t be far off. Amazing.

Ice creams are huge and so much choice. I had Jaffa cake flavour. Took us the entire walk back to the pier to finish eating it. Highly recommend

Gelato is absolutely delicious with some interesting flavours. They also offer a reasonably priced kids come. Hot chocolate is available in dark, milk or white and is made properly with real chocolate. Delicious.

Just the best ice cream I have ever tasted. If you are anywhere near Aldburgh or Southwold it's worth going out of your way to try this gelato

Nothing but praise for this place. They do great coffees and the gelato is absolutely incredible (If coffee and white chocolate wafer is there, go for it but honestly all the flavours are amazing)! Also bought some chocolate and coffee beans, both were delicious. On top of that, staff there are just so lovely. If you only have time to stop at one place in Southwold make it here, it's absolutely worth it!
(It is a bit pricey though so be prepared, still worth it though)

Blackcurrant and liquorice - utterly amazing. Keen on trying more flavours, and yet I know I'd want the same again and again!

Great coffee and even better ice cream, lots of different flavours and various cakes.
