Fantastic food,friendly staff and a great pint. Ate here twice during our week in Southwold great both nights. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in the area. Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms.

Stayed in this gem of a place for only 1 night but wish we could stay longer. We had the superior room which has a lovely beach view from the roll top bath. The room was spotless clean. The staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious. Excellent value

Lovely food. Friendly staff. Restaurant decorated nicely. Lovely location.
My son has nut and sesame allergies and they asked questions and were very aware of how to handle this.
All of us are vegetarian and there was plenty of choices. I had the ramen (delicious), my husband a burger (looked amazing) and my children macaroni cheese and fries. For starters we had ciabatta and spicy cauliflower bites which were out of this world!
No room for dessert!
Great drinks choices too, and they had two cocktails on tap, as well as others to choose from.

A lovely, short walk from the centre of Southwold. Absolutely delicious food. So good we almost cancelled our booking for another restaurant the following night, just so that we could come back. Generous portions. Excellent staff. Great atmosphere.

We discovered this gem 2 years ago the last time we visited the area and had such a good meal we all wanted to return. Sadly we couldn’t get a table this time - so went for takeaway. We weren’t disappointed!
Delicious burgers, amazing truffle fries, super fast service and very friendly staff. Next time we will book ahead as the views across the nature reserve are worth eating in for.

Staff were very friendly looked after us well all night. Food was delicious. Lots to choose from and very accommodating to making a couple of special requests. Best place to eat in Southwold.

Fantastic food!. The south African curried mussels and chips, I had on Sunday (5th February '23) were amazing. Our baby granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her sausages and my husband's burger looked delicious and tasted great, he said. And his chunky chips were really good too.

Lovely vegan and vegetarian choices 😁. I had a delicious vegan burrito. The quality of food was fantastic, the carnivores really enjoyed their food as well. We will definitely be back 😀

Stayed for two nights recently. Lovely room with views over nature reserve. Had dinner at venue both nights. Service, accommodation and food was all great. Would definitely book again.

Went to The Sail Loft for Dinner, food was lovely and hot in temperature, they looked after us well considering it's the Summer holidays. They don't allow glasses outside which is a sensible idea as they are family friendly and allow dogs. So they don't want broken glass which is totally understandable.
Great views over the Southwold marshes, large selection of drinks and the food is delicious and fast. Thank you, we will definitely be back and recommend to our guests.

Amazing food. We had a fantastic meal here today and every dish was spot on. And the staff were super too.

We had a lovely meal here, the service was excellent and all the staff were super friendly. There is parking outside and easy access into the building. There weren't too many people there when we went but during the Easter and Summer holidays it can get really busy so make sure you book in advanced for indoor seating. Outdoor seating works on a first come first serve basis and can't be booked. Overall a great experience and we will be going again.

Absolutely wonderful place to eat and hang out. Brilliant at all times of the year. I especially love their breakfast burrito. Very accommodating for large groups and kids.

Fantastic pub in a fabulous location with amazing views and great food. They were very thorough and attentive with my daughter’s food allergies. Wish we lived closer so we could visit regularly!

Lovely reasonably priced food. Good service. Nice opens earlier for evening meal, we were going to a show that started at 7.30pm so nice unhurried meal before hand.

Wagyu burgers are good but on this visit we had the lobster risotto and the sea bass laksa. Can't see why I'd ever choose anything else. Risotto is a big plate of rich saffrony deliciousness. The laksa is a perfect piece of sea bass, their homemade fish balls (luxuriously spicy and non-authentically flavourful), and a nice laksa underneath. Order one of these. If you ignore the advice, I still think you'll be happy, though.

Excellent food and service plus a very comfortable place to enjoy a meal and it's a stones throw from the beach.

We stopped here for lunch and had four delicious burgers ( one veggie) and a bowl of chunky chips.
Service was excellent, very fast and friendly. Food was perfectly cooked and served hot, portions not too large, just right really.
We sat outside as weather was good. Prices were very reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service. Could not be more helpful,especially for someone with a diet intolerance. Great choice and food was top class
