House 2 Home

Once upon a time we had every type of shop in the high street, often lived in by their owners. When I was young (70 years ago) that was the norm. We still have a traditional butchers and the excellent HOUSE 2 HOME, but what else. When I was very small my Grand Aunts took me on a day out to Epping Market on the Green Line Coach from the Green Man Leytonstone. There was even an animal market then. I want us all to support House 2 Home into the future. It must be the only ship in Epping that could replace a Woolworths. Not that we ever had one of those.

This shop has literally everything for the home and DIY, plumbing etc. Tools, paint, electrical equipment, lots of specialist items for random jobs and repairs. A real treasure trove. Reasonable prices especially for the convenience of having this on my doorstep. This is always my go-to store if I need something very specific for a job. Owner and family are very welcoming and friendly, always offer to help.

An fantasic little shop that seems to have everything. I have lost track of how many times this shop has helped me get a tricky item I needed quickly without having to travel off to a specialist shore to find. The owners are beautiful people, they are very friendly, helpful and kind natured. They have this way about them - when you walk away from the store you feel better;-) If you have ever met someone like that before you will know exactly what I mean. Suffice to say, would highly recommend.

Once again I'm reminded this shop is such an asset to the town, another journey to Harlow or Loughton saved for small DIY jobs, the staff are so friendly and helpful and it's great to use a local business.

This is one of those shops where you walk in just to browse and realise you need something, great store, my only criticism is as soon as you walk in you are met by a staff member asking if they can help. I want to look without feeling I'm being watched 👀. Apart from that, great place.

Very helpful staff, who showed me the options for aerial leads and connections.
Also reccomended suitable replacement bulbs which included LED options, which worked out exceptionally well.
Please use this shop who are a great asset in Epping High Street.

Used House 2 Home for my UPS delivery, staff were very courteous and informative when I called. Will now be using them as my main drop off point, highly recommended.

Really useful store, with loads of interesting household items inside. If you go in just to look around, you're more than likely come away with something you've been looking for and haven't been able to get elsewhere - or something you can find a use for.

Brilliant. Never left there without what I need. How do they do it? Amazingly reasonable prices too. The owners know how to treat their customers well and you get a real welcome feeling.

My experience, every time I go to this shop is the same... kindness, great customer service & they always engage well in conversation. Always leave this shop feeling better than I walked in!

If they haven't got it you must have asked for the unobtainable ingeneral household items. An alladins cave of allsorts. Incredibly helpful owners who somehow know what they have and where it is.
