I have just found this place . Good selection of stock and very helpful staff.

A brilliant company who I will definitely be using again! Great prices and a lot cheaper than anywhere else I looked. A very helpful customer service representative called me the following day to inform about an item which was out of stock and I was promptly refunded as well as double checking a few times which I had accidentally put the wrong items in my order. Delivery was swift and well packaged. Highly Recommend!

Made an order for 4 items that came to £145. The website showed items in stock and took payment. After the payment went through, I received an email to say the items were in fact out of stock. I’m aware that the items I ordered have been discontinued by Hornby so the reality is, these items will never be restocked. So what’s the plan KMS? Just rob me and hold on to my £145 with no intention of ever fulfilling the order?
Tried to email, no response. Messages on FB, no response. Tried ringing for hours, no response. Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. No I’m having to go down the long winded route of claiming through PayPal leaving me out of pocket for weeks. Beware of this place. Utterly useless.

EDIT: Your website neither states “In Stock” or “Available to order”. It simply says “Add to basket” which should not be possible for out of stock and discontinued items. Even if it does show “Available to order”, that is not clear enough to the buyer especially when you are NOT able to order because they are discontinued by the manufacturer.

Appalling customer service. First time I've used this shop after being recommended to me from a friend. Purchased a locomotive from their website over 4 weeks ago due to, took a week for it to arrive due to bad weather and it arrived faulty. Sent back for a replacement, 3 weeks later and still no replacement. Contacted them 3 times now only to be given false promises twice and was told the 3rd time we'd get a call back, still waiting. Have had to raise a dispute through PayPal to get my money back. Not how you treat new customers, wouldn't recommend!

Appalling customer service.constantly had to chase them for updates after buying a faulty decoder.two months to get a replacement.will never use again.
