Came in for a wee wander about but stayed for a fab flat white and egg and black pudding roll , service from the staff was excellent and we had the large comfy sofas to relax in , well recommended , dog friendly too with outside seating for when the weather is better

Whilst waiting to get the car charged up at the car park, we had a lovely cuppa tea with great tasty snack. It is a dog friendly cafe which makes it a convenient place to stop for food and drinks after walking nearby nature trails. The toilet facilities were clean with baby changing stations. It is also a children friendly with toys area.

I was very pleasantly surprised on my first visit here. There's a great mix of vintage items as well as handmade crafts.
I didn't have time to try the cafe, but will definitely bring a friend next time and have lunch.

T&R lovely friendly staff and atmosphere enjoy coffee and cake and have a look around their amazing shop. They are so accommodating we had a celebration for friends birthday they set out a beautiful table and were just amazing highly recommend them.

What a find. Beside the transport museum. Good parking, a treasure cave of beautiful things (and reasonably priced!!). From old school desks, kists, clothing to Venetian masks (!!), beautiful furniture and Gladstone bags all with an excellent café.. Snacks, breakfasts, cakes in a friendly environment. And the icing on the cake: this is DOG FRIENDLY!! In fact the dogs got given dog biscuits before we got our cake!
Home and Garden is well worth a visit (and will be revisited by ourselves)
Because it is early winter and dark when we visited, we did not get a chance to see the garden centre area - a pleasure for our next visit.

Wonderful cafe,with lovely coffee and great selection of cakes.Yummiest bacon and egg baps or black pudding.Staff very attentive and owners go out of there way to make your visit enjoyable.Thanks so much all.

Lovely shop, helpful, lots to see and a pleasant coffee shop with plenty of goodies.

Had a lovely coffee with carrot cake. Definitely be back.

Review for ice cream parlour, not the main shop!

Lovely selection of ice creams, really good price (£6 for two very generous waffle cones), and friendly service too. Will definitely be back!

Always a delight to visit the garden centre.Went today with nieceand husband,We all took the burgers with salad and they were lovely. Also managed to get a seat outside ,which we always prefer.Staff excellent also.

Good coffee and brownie, interesting things to browse

John & janine from cape town, apart from the best breakfast we've had in scotland, the mother and daughter making & serving the food were absolutely beautiful in there personally and warmness.

Went out to the Bistro today for lunch but it was shut so were told to try TR. Tucked away in corner, we found a lovely shop with a cafe at one end. Enjoyed nice sandwiches and then had a browse round the interesting and eclectic mix of old and new. Nice place, would return 👍

Had some lunch in here as my sister lives locally. The sandwiches were great and the staff very pleasant. Also I looked at the price of the houseplants, you would pay double in some garden centres for them!

First visit and certainly not the last.
Lovely little location cafe great food, garden center and antiques.
Will definitely go back

Great bacon roll and a nice coffee 🥃

Stopped in Alford and with the power out came across this place open - cooking food on the bbq and boiling coffee on the stove. Great friendly service, tasty food and great spirit persevering.

Lovely cafe and bric a brack place. Added bonus dog friendly with biscuits and water for my pouch. Highly recommend

First time there. Great coffee and excellent bacon rolls.
