I’d had an on going , reoccurring blocked ear , this also seemed to trigger random ear infections. I saw that Derbyshire hearingcare did a clinic at a pharmacy in Burton on Trent. Booked in and can only say how much better I now feel. Simone was professional, efficient and friendly. She sorted my problem ,gave clear advice and now I feel so much better. Highly recommend!! . I reached the point with my hearing where I needed professional help. I tried one of the major chains but found that the service was impersonal and I couldn't have confidence that I was being offered the best solution.
After some research I found Simone. She has been a revelation. She took time to explain how my hearing loss was affecting my ability to process language (I am a linguist and this is hugely important to me). Working together we found a solution (Phonak) which has been a joy to use.
I am genuinely hearing better than for years, revelling in details of sound which were lost to me. The fact that my hi-tech hearing aids allow me discretely to listen to music, make calls, etc. is a bonus.
I have been very impressed with Simone's knowledge, dedication to client satisfaction and her approachable professional style. She's never rushed, and has gone above the call of duty to ensure I'm happy with my new 'ears'. I can't recommend her too highly. Thank you.

Absolutely superb service from Simone today, I had lots of built up ear wax and also some trapped water. This was causing me to be 95% deaf for a few days and extremely uncomfortable. A 10 minute session with Simone managed to remove all the wax and water, and instantly resolving my hearing and pain issues. The procedure was painless and she made me feel very comfortable and was very professional!

Having researched extensively for independent audiologists I was on the point of giving up when I accidentally stumbled across Simone Farrar at Derbyshire Hearing Care and what a fortunate accident it's proved to be.

Having been quoted prices in excess of £4000 for outdated technology it was refreshing to speak to someone who didn't have a " company axe to grind ".

Simone has many years experience as an audiologist in both the public and private sectors. She is extremely professional, patient and thorough taking time to ensure you have the most appropriate aids for your specific type of hearing loss.
All consultations took place at home and were conducted rigidly within full Covid guidelines.

I was able to trial aids from a range of companies before finally settling on Bernafon which as a musician offered the best solution. Follow up requests for minor adjustments have been dealt with extremely promptly.

I found the service offered by Simone to be nothing but excellent and have no hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending her.

I had my ear blocked for over a week and I rang Derbyshire hearingcare and managed to get same day appointment. went in there she was nice and kind and very professional.and with in 10 min my ear is clean and I can hear everything.im so glad with the service.thank you Simone your a angel
