Zak's DIY is the best small DIY shop in the area. They have the thing's that other and bigger shops don't have. The staff know where everything is in the shop and are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Top quality beats, your screw fixes & tools station for smaller bits anyday

Brilliant place parking bang outside shop looks small but it's massively long and full of everything you could possibly want. Family run business lovely people will call in again soon

I've been many, many times over recent years, for various DIY projects, never had any rudeness from Zak or his family, just knowledgeable and try to help me with what I need.

Really hard not to love this place - whatever it is you want it’s probably in there - like to try and catch them out, wondering if they know where all the stuff is - never got them yet!!! Love it!

There are not many DIY shops I would give 5 stars to. This though deserves such an accolade. I have had visitors from Scotland who insist on a visit to Zak's for both the incredible range of goods he has but also the pure experience of visiting this unique shop. Zak sells almost every thing you could imagine for DIY and also at lower prices than most......and he hasn't paid me a penny to say any of this !! Go there and enjoy the experience and products.....

I've never been to Zak's and not got what I wanted,if you cant find what your looking for just ask, they'll find it. One word describes Zak's... Brilliant.

A treasure trove for anything DIY. If you need it, they've generally got it. I always use Zak's for bits and bobs as it's only in walking distance from my house. Very helpful and friendly staff, they will always find what you want. I also feel it's good to support your small local businesses, especially during this current time.

Brilliant place very helpful

Zak's is an Aladdin's cave of DIY / traditional ironmongery. If Zak hasn't got it nobody has! Staff can't do enough for you please use this local shop rather than the big name shops. Recommend please use.

A little Aladins cave, hidden away in Stapleford. This store has all the needs, for any DIY job. Very helpful and knowledgeably owner. How, gave great adivces, on get hold of something, he did not sell, but can be obtained, directly from Manufacturer. Services like the good old days. If you need something, start here.

A small local independent with a wealth of knowledge and stocks "everything", In 3 years he has only let me down once, but has advised or suggested fixes I had never thought of. I have often been let down by our B&Q superstore only to find the fix in Zaks. Highly Recommend

Hidden gem, if you want a left handed screwdriver or a tin of tartan paint, you'd find it here. Don't be put off by the stock on the floor, the owner knows where everything is and how to use it.
He could fill a place 4x the size with his stock.
Take the time to browse as you will come out with more than you went in for.
Been going for years and has a loyal customer base.
Stocks a better range than the sheds

Love going to Zaks Diy, if there's something I can't find Zak will know where it is. It's like Aladins cave in there if he doesn't stock it you don't need it. He travels in 6days a week from Leicester bless him and he's always cheerful too. A very nice man. 😆

Zak has everything for DIY and Proffesinals. He knows whar you want but more importantly what you need. You can buy a nut a bolt, a few screws a tap a banister rail, plumbing, electrical bits a pieces. I am sure I saw a kitchen sink in there. Zak and his helpful staff know where everything is, what it costs and how to use it. Go when it's quiet, if there ever is a time and you can learn a lot from Zak
