Great help from the staff here. A lot of the prices are as good or better than B&Q and online, and it's on the local high street so super convenient. A great selection of products too.

Love this little shop, don’t know where they put all their stock but they always have everything I need, they’ve not let me down yet. Plus I find it cheaper than B & Q.

LD Smith's never let you down with a solution for those problem little jobs. The ship is like an Aladdin's cave of DIY goodies and the staff are always on hand to offer help and advice. A real positive is that you can buy most items as singles pieces, unlike the large DIY stores who insist that you but hundreds of the things when you only want a couple.

Still as brilliant as ever and do much better than the big superstore DIY chains. Friendly service with a smile.
NB take cash with you their card machine can be a little bit temperamental!

Good old fashioned ironmongers.
No need to travel miles when stuck for diy bits.
Large range in stock.

Nice friendly local hardware store sells everything for those little diy jobs.

The website said they were going to be open until 3.00pm on 30th December but when I arrived all the shutters were locked shut. Never got to see the shop. If there's a website saying they are open then its a reasonable assumption to accept what's there on the site is correct. You wouldn't ring to make sure their website is correct.
