D Davies Butchers

My husband went out looking for a local butcher open late on a Saturday afternoon and stumbled across D Davies Butchers. We're holidaying from Greater Manchester in Llandovery so was a bit of a trip but WOW was it worth it! The leg of lamb he purchased was incredible it comfortably fed the 8 of us with enough for 2nds and 3rds! It cooked beautifully, carved perfectly! If we're ever back this way we will definitely be back!!

Visited as part of our holiday and were bowled over by the lovely service we received! Very friendly, couldn't do more to help!

Lovely, traditional butcher with really friendly owners who know their stuff!

The meat is very good, always tender and mainly local from surrounding farms . It is always clearly stated where it comes from.
Mr Davies and his staff are friendly and cheerful and he gives good advice when I am dithering and is always happy to do extra cuts .
The minced meat is regularly done there and then for the customer, the home cured bacon is tasty and doesn't shrink when cooked.
It is a pleasure to do our meat shop at a real butcher who knows his trade well.

Popped in to this friendly shop whilst on holiday. Superb quality meat and poultry in fact best whole chicken I have cooked. Will be back when returning to the area. Thank you all at D Davies at Tregaron.

we were holidaying locally in our motorhome over the easter weekend and called in for some bacon. "probably" the best bacon we've eaten. cooked on our bbq - it was full of flavour and a wonderful thickness.

Superb quality meat fantastic service always with a smile. Forgot to take one item and didn't realise until I got home. Called shop and Mr Davies delivered items to our home some 10 miles away that same evening.

Delicious lamb steaks from this local butcher. Reared from his own livestock and prepared in front of us. Beef local, again delicious. Fresh local veg and free range eggs. Sausages and bacon all local. A lovely butchers very friendly and happy to suggest good places to visit in the area. Thank you.
