B&Q Gillingham

Big shout out for Sandeep who was my knight in shining armour in the store today! He sourced the large item I wanted from an area of the store that was closed (undergoing refurbishment) put it on a trolley and took to the checkout for me, came and found me and let me know, then found another item I needed, added it to the trolley and left me to browse. Didn’t stop there- when I got to the checkout he pushed the rather awkward trolley to the right place for me, left me to pay; next thing I know he was there to help me get it to my car and load it in!
Absolute legend, so kind and helpful, friendly and made the whole experience so positive. Thankyou!

What a great experience I had today at this store! I cannot praise the bathroom staff highly enough. I went in with a concern... not a compalint... but believe me I was getting there! They MADE ME A CUP OF TEA! took my paperwork and took all the stress away by going through the entire list of 'concerns' namely wrong items ordered by staff... wrong items delivered by delivery guys... and refunds not made to correct card. So a huge thank you to Gina Zoe and Kelly ( who made a great cup of tea!)

Special thanks to Simon and Kelly for designing our kitchen. Happy to help and work on with our current kitchen. Helped save us some money.

We went to this shop at the weekend and left an item we paid for on the till,we went back on monday,gave them the receipt and the security checked the cctv and came back and said yes we did leave behind take ur item,

Had an excellent experience today looking at Christmas lights. Mark went above and beyond to assist with our purchases, he is a credit to the company! Lorraine at the checkout was equally fantastic.

I was first time in this store and was where surprise. I want to say from good side. Store is large, I can say very large, big assortment very tidy. I think it will be my favourite shop if I want to get something for house. Recommend everyone to visit.

We have purchased a bathroom and kitchen off Abi in the kitchen department and I couldn't be more pleased with the service so helpful did the kitchen plans advised on every aspect checked all items and delivery dates brilliant a real credit to b&q A real treat to meet someone in a store these days that cares about her job and her customers thank you Abi

I have to say this is the nicest branch of B & Q I have been to.
I have visited the branch about 8 times now and everytime all the staff have been really friendly, approachable and helpful.
Yesterday I dealt with ‘Sally’ on Kitchens. She was such a lovely lady. She spend so much time with us and gave us so much advice and ideas. Nothing was too much trouble.
All of the staff were so nice.

Barbara on the paint section was extremely helpful. She was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to provide excellent customer service.

Wide range of products, easy parking. Required service to cut wood purchase
to size, young man very considerate by helping to lift plywood sheet off the pile.
Easy and quick checkout.

Always helpful staff in this B&Q and always well stocked but yesterday we were helped by a member of staff (named Simon) who went "above and beyond" as I was having a bad back day so was in my wheelchair and my fiancé and I had quite a large trolley. Simon helped hugely by pushing our trolley so my fiancé could help me but he didn't stop at the front door he continued across the whole car park (the car park design at B&Q Gillingham is terrible, so if you park in the disabled bays, as we do, you have a massive walk over very rough ground as the pavement is miles rougher and more uneven than the car park tarmac!) and even helped load our car for us! If anyone from B&Q sees this do please pass on our thanks to Simon and wish him well as he's not only a very hard working young man he's also got a load of compassion in him too. Thank you Simon you really helped us.

Also, B&Q, please sort your pavement out in that car park if you're going to make your disabled customers walk half a mile - it's like a bloody ploughed field in places!

Absolutely love love this store. They have everything! From DIY projects to home decor and real plants... Even Christmas trees. Best thing is you can join their club and collect points and vouchers. Highly recommend!

The staff could not be more helpful from the lovely ladies who looked after my friend so well with her purchase to the young lady who helped us to the car and loaded the boot. Thank you with this service level. I will happily shop again 😊

Absolutely marvelous and helpful staff, my trip there today to collect fence preserver was made earlier with their 'click and collect' system, and when collecting I happen to mention to the staff member 'Alan' I think I will need another tin, he straightaway looked up on his, monitor then went and collected off of the shop floor for me.
My time there was quick, efficient and made easy by the staff at B&Q help.

Local B and Q. Has a lot of nice things for the garden and DIY projects. Its a bit more expensive than ordering stuff online, but at least you don't have to wait for delivery. Parking is huge so there is always space. There is a burger van on the parking if you need some food.

The staff at the paint section was very helpful.

Normal great service..As we left the store a baby Pigeon fell on my partners head!
Nikki appeared, took the baby and assured us that there was a nest above the door and the baby would be immediately returned to the nest that nest. Thanks Nikki. xx
