Sainsbury's

You know what to expect with Sainsbury’s, and the thing I like about this branch is that it has the old school Sainsbury’s feel to it. I’m not sure how long it’s been there but it certainly feels like it’s one of the originals. I know it’s been there for the 20 years I’ve been around the area and I reckon even then it had been here since life began.

Very clean, and all the things you’d expect.

Always a pleasure coming to this branch. A relative takes ages to decide what she wants so I usually wait for her by the paypoints seating area.

The lady at the fish counter is a star seller. Always smiling and has very good clientele relations. They de-scale the fresh fish and clean it on request.

There are good toilet facilities here and why I had to review this branch is not only do they have an excellent selection of fruits and vegetables, their mince pies (I just remember getting Christmas 2017 mince pies like it was last week!!) are to die for.

Not too much filling. Traditional short crust pastry and worth every penny (4 mince pies still only £1). Last year I bought a pack each week leading up to Christmas that I couldn't look at another mince pie on Christmas Day 😅!

Many many Congrats for all aspects of the products that can be bought here and especially for that genuine customer care that can't be bought!! 😉

Great for parking and great selection of food and household items

Good selection of good and products. It has fresh fish and meat. Not huge offer of house products.

Good , place to buy snacks, food shopping 🛍 for general household. Lots, of choice meets the requirements of all daily living. Cost effectiveness, and sweets and chocolates 🍫 for vegans and other products STOCK Availability, multiple items for dietary requirements.

Make sure you check the aigbage for parking. Overall a clean and tidy store

I walked into the store and all the staff starting screaming my name with rapture whilst giving me a standing ovation. I don’t know if this happened or if it was a dream but I would like to think it was the former.

Great range of products are available in this supermarket. Size does not matter. This isn't the biggest Sainsbury's. However it does sell most of the essential items. Staffs are friendly and helpful too. Sometimes you can see a lot of smokers in front the shop. In addition to that front entrance is also not very clean most of the time. Overall it's a busy but convenient supermarket at Tooting.

Great branch with plenty of self-checkout tills. I don't think I've ever been stuck in a queue here. Has also had everything I've needed and is very easy to navigate. It also has 2 entrances/exits (1 right next to Tooting Broadway station and one that leads into the backside of McDonald's and the rest of Bickley Street). Hassle-free grocery shop everytime.

Inexpensive grocery store. Good selection of items. Always extremely busy. There is self checkout or you can use a checkout with a person. Near a bus stop.

Was only a quick visit here. First time as well. I usually go to the Putney or Wandsworth store's. I only popped in for some sweet treats to take into St George's hospital for my first session of dyalisis. Staff seemed friendly enough. Well stocked obviously, for a store of this size. Very, very busy though. Avoid peak times if you don't like crowds or queing up to pay for your shopping.

I was served in the shop on the 29/02/2020 when I was passing by from work by a lady called Huma she was even about to close her tray but she told me and other person in front of me she will served just two of us and no more , I was shocked when a gentleman came with ice cubes begged her and she did not refused him if any other person she will not even look at the person such person Huma need to be treated with respect a very hard working person thank you so much .

Helpful staff at the Tooting Broadway branch!

I would say this branch embodies community, as the staff are always knowledgeable, helpful, and genuine.

I witnessed a staff member go out of her way to converse with an elderly woman who seemed lost and was very happy to be spoken with and helped.

Most disappointed with the service I received I'm this store today 8 December 2022 , an item I purchased went through the till at a higher priced than marked on the shelf. The manager who dealt with it was very rude, arrogant and a bad representation of the company.His name was Nova.
I don't expect to be spoken to by anyone like that especially a managers.

Big store with parking and wheelchair access - 2 mins from Tooting Broadway tube station. Good for lunch-time snacks. Bakery, fresh fish, deli and pizza counters. Small plant/flower section. No toilets.

This is a relatively big supermarket that has a good selection of products. Considering I am interested in the vegan products offer, I noticed they have a good range of vegan food, mostly from the free from and quorn range.

You need to come and see it,,

A big Sainsburys branch which doesn't look big from outside. Has car park at rear (parking needs validation in store). As there is a large local ethnic community, has some excellent options in the word food section.
