Caterham Angling

As a relatively inexperienced angler I would be lost without caterham angling. They are always happy to help and advise and pass on knowledge which for me has been invaluable. Super friendly staff and very well stocked.

First visit to the shop and only bought a few bits.
It looked really well stocked and had a friendly feeling to it. They appeared happy to talk things through with inexperienced anglers and there mum which was good to see. I've been in shops where they didn't want to pass on any knowledge to anyone which always seemed strange to me.
I'll be back.

Superb shop for all your fishing needs. I haven't been fishing for a while so going into a shop where you feel welcome is a great feeling everyone is really friendly and helpful. Love this shop

Really good range of kit, bait, everything you may need. Nice clean shop. Asked the chap at the counter for advice for new mainline , very helpful, didn't try and sell me the most expensive but steered me towards the cheaper end highly recommend ...

One of the best Angling shops around, great customer service, great products at good prices. Only popped in to give a mate company ended up buying and will be a regular returning customer. If you're after good gear with great advice, Do your self a favour and just GO to this shop!

Sun 26 Aug. Returning to fishing popped in for a chat and with the idea of getting a few basics. The two guys who helped me were friendly, patient, informative, not pushy at all. Well stocked clean & tidy shop. A first timer in this shop , who will definitely return to buy more in the future. Thanks chaps it was a pleasure. !

Wouldn't go anywhere else. Wayne's a nice bloke, hubby even had a brew with him a while back (pre covid). Both of us visit on many occasions, great good quality stock with good range of brands, pricing is ok but fair (if you want to compare to online, naturally it will be more but cannot expect that from an independent) you cannot put a price on experience and knowledge. All nice people. Thanks for the great service and no doubt see you again soon.

As a newbie to carp fishing, I visited Caterham Angling on 18/5/21 to buy a few rigs, I explained how I’ve been fishing and what end tackle I’ve been using.
I got some great advice, I think it was the owner Wayne, apologies if it wasn’t. It’s great to go to a shop as a beginner and find someone who is willing to talk and give advice. Would highly recommend Caterham Angling to anyone who is new to carp fishing and who wants to improve. Thank you.

All the major brands. Course, match, carp and even a bit of sea fishing supplies. Bed, chairs, bevvies and luggage laid out to see, and tons of terminal tackle on racks and live, fresh, frozen or shelf baits. If they haven't got it in they will get it. Really friendly staff who are all keen angler's and know their stuff.

After being let down by a large online angling brand for the 3rd time I thought I tried these guys as they are local - these are top guys that absolutely love the sport, kept my heavily pregnant wife amused while offering me sound advice on what I need now and what to look out for in the future, as a bonus the shop is open early hours to late evening so perfect to pickup bits straight from work. I would 100% go back.

This is the best fishing shop I've seen and I spend so long in there at a time. The staff are really nice and they are very knowledgeable. They always help if I'm stuck and they are good with kids to. Around I love it there!!!

Well stocked well laid out store everything i asked for thay had in stock friendly staff answered all my questions know what thay talking about cant recomend them enough ten out of ten will only use them from now on i resently brought new carp rods nash from them i was struggling to choose wanted 10foot 3.5pound spoke to them was recomended the nash dwarf range 2 ten footers and a 6 footer i got great rods thanks all daren warner

Great shop packed full of bait and tackle for every type of fishing.

And the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - there is always a great atmosphere in the shop and you feel like part of a real club or community when you shop there.

Top guys in this shop very knowable and know there products very well extremely well stocked for all you needs from baits to tackle, beds, chairs and so much more and if he doesn't have it on the shelf he will order it in for you will always use this shop for my fishing needs see you very soon tight lines !!!!!
